If I can give it zero star I will. My experience is horrible. First most of the sales guys are not helpful at all. They are good at fishing you up for commitment but don't care if the cloth fits. If you need tailoring a suit, the nightmare starts. I went back to pick up my altered suits, and insisted to try it on before I take it. It turned out that the alternation is not good at all, and the tailors are not there that day so I left my contact information and they promised to call me back. A week later without call, I drop by again to check in. My sale guy was not there that day, so it's very hard for me to grab another person to get my suit and a tailor. No one cares. Hands up in the air and they start to kick me from one person to the other. I spent 1000+ on a suit and was treated worse than in a H&M store. Another evidence of carelessness of their poor customer service is: when I received my Bloomingdale's store credit card, my last name appears twice on the card... Guess I will cancel the card anyway. I will never shop here and I do not recommend anyone shop here. There're plenty of other department stores out there in New York.

I shop at Bloomingdale's a lot and have had great experiences there. My one complaint, for a store that values aesthetics and the mystery of beauty, the store itself is neither aesthetically pleasing (inside or out), nor does it seem to value beauty, which is strange. In an age where we are finally becoming aware of the comforts and the necessity of bringing Nature back into our lives, this store is one big black box with not one green leaf in sight. The outside of the store looks like it was built in the '50s. Big, open garage on one side, endless, broken sidewalk on another, a bunch of old flags flying from the main entrance; not a tree, not a flowerpot in sight. The display windows are old and rarely exhibit the kind of imagination that you might get at, let's say Barney's or now, even Macy's that has a promenade for pedestrians in front and great window displays. I must say, also, that the lightng in the fitting rooms is nothing short of horrific. I try things on and then want to run out the door screaming, "I'm ugly!" I don't think that's what they intended. Plus the front of the store is just over stuffed with too much...well..stuff. It's confusing and overbearing. Do I sound like I don't like Bloomingdalee's? I actually do like it very much but their designs and their aesthetics desperately need to be updated.

Lapin and I came here to look for Creed fragrances. After, asking two employees both who were super helpful, they told us to check their SoHo location as they carry it. But, most of the employees went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience, even recommending competitors that might carry the brand so we wouldn't have to commute all the way to SoHo.

worst experience ever. Placed an order online one week ago and got canceled because my information didnt not match their "public record". the customer service was terrible and did not help at all. The only thing they did was repeating "sorry, we cannot assist you further". thank you bloomindale's. If I dont need to get the items and catch my flight, I would definitely spend my money somewhere else.

There was a time when I ran all the way to this store to buy an item only to find out it was only on sale online and that the store would not be able to match the price. But otherwise I've enjoyed the Chinese New Year events and scratchcard promotions in the store, as well as other organized events! It is really difficult to find anything to buy in the store because even the sale items are expensive. The store is also incredibly big with 2 sides for each floor, so it can be easy to get lost as well.

Racist salesmen. I'll start by saying that bloomingdales has been one of my favorite department stores. However, today I was browsing for shoes in the men's Ferragamo section, and right in the middle of the sales floor, two of the salesmen were talking about how racist they were and how they used derogatory terms against Asians and African Americans. They would then tell each other the terms they used in effort to one-up how racist they were. Mind you, the Ferragamo shoe section is relatively small and there were customers in there who could hear them, including Asians. Honestly it was the most shocking and unprofessional retail experience I have ever encountered.

My friend and I had a groupon for David Burke's at Bloomingdale's. The staff here are wonderful. Very friendly! Our waiter William gave us his opinions on what he liked and what was good on the menu. We had the lobster dumplings, tomato soup (comes with 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich which was so good), Surf and Turf and the Steak Frites for our entrees. They had ran out of apple tart, but the manager (Hank - very very friendly and personable!) came over to say the chef wanted to make my friend a custom dessert for her in its place. It was really good (apples and fried dough, ice cream and carmelized slice of apple and caramel drizzle. Delish!). We talked with Hank for a bit, really nice guy and seems to really care about the guests and the restaurant as well. All in all I was really pleased with our meal, the atmosphere and the service! I think this is a great place to relax and have a good meal after shopping or walking around the city. I'm sure lunch is just as good. Highly recommend!

My wife had their Seabass special and, because it was so steeply priced, I tried to offset the cost by ordering the burger and fries, which was cheaply priced at $21.00! My wife also chose an expensive drink (which was of reasonable taste but overpriced at $14.00). Ambience: When I go to an expensive place I expect quality ambience. Tables are too close to one another. One bathroom for the whole restaurant – unacceptable – worse than the back of a plane. This is where the place gets a 2 out of 10. The awful sleepy background French music made it a terrible experience. Service: I had to ask for bread and for a water refill! Not good. 1 out of 10. Quality of Food & Presentation: Burger was nothing special compared to the price. The presentation was poor. The fish did not stand out either. Overall -at best a 4 out of 10 – and that’s generous. I have eaten at holes-in-the-wall places to Michelin-starred restaurants from Manhattan to Madrid; and so I think I am being objective here. Overall rating 2 out of 10.

Bloomingdale's hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
