We were told that this is the place to go. It's a bit confusing ordering here, you think you're in line but they kind of pick and choose who they're going to take orders from. Eventually we get their attention and order. They want you to order quick. You order by the name, I something that was hot something, it wasn't very spicy. I wasn't impressed, it was just a hot dog with toppings.

This is probably my favorite place to grab a snack after working out at the gym up the block. My favorite things to get are two dogs with chili and sauerkraut and a papaya juice. The hot dogs have a nice crisp skin on them, and the chili and sauerkraut adds a tangy/savory element. I've also tried the pineapple smoothie, which was good. If you are visiting NY then this is a must. Be careful, the line can get painfully long on summer days.

Cash Only. The hotdogs were good and is worth a shot if you are in the area!

Fantastic dogs, but a shame there isn't more room to eat inside. There is a lot going on in a very small space when you walk in, so I rushed my order without taking a good look at all the offerings.

Great spot in the upper east side. You'll find quite a few folks on this corner coming in and getting a quick bite to eat. A mainstay in NYC. Can't go wrong with 2 dogs with kraut and a papaya drink. Great snap to the hot dog and wonderful flavor. The papaya drink was also very refreshing. Great for a quick snack or meal and a refreshing beverage. Service was quick and i got my dogs quickly.

Overpriced and overrated... You could get a cheaper, better tasting hot dog from a cart. Hard to believe this place was featured on food network, what a sham!

Way way way overrated! Not cheap, not tasty - waste of time and money! I got a footlong hot dog with mushrooms and curly fries - not filling at all. The footlong is not even close to a foot length, and way too salty and dry, and all shrunk up. I am a big fan of NY hotdogs, and I was hoping to like it, since, it is kind of an institution (among the college kids) - but VERY disappointed! :( Moreover, I had to get a shake shack burger(which is delicious BTW) just to get the awful salty, burnt taste off my mouth!

New owners have changed it and not for the better. I sense that the hot dogs are thinner and more salty. Still the best hot dog in that neighborhood but if you want the best in Manhattan, Gray's Papaya on Broadway and 79th Street.
