"We chose the pizza and pasta restaurant."
"Hint: There is a rooftop beer garden thats fabulous on a nice day."

Eataly is best experienced as a grocery store. While the restaurants have delicious dishes, the lines and wait times are insane. Usually I pick up some fresh made pasta, fresh mozzarella, and some great items from their produce section (prices aren't terrible- and they have a more unique selection vs your average grocery store). Try to avoid lunch hour or Thursday/Friday happy hour- you will find yourself trapped while trying to shop.

Apart from always being crowded, it's always a delight to wander through this Italian food wonderland overflowing with delectable treats. I love how you can snack on a slice of focaccia or a cup of gelato while stocking up on your cheese, wine and pasta.

Italian food shopping at is finest. You need time! A lot of time to get through the store and check out everything. Besides they have a few stand up cafes through out the store. You could get some Prosciutto, salami and cheese for a late night snack or an authentic cappuccino at breakfast. The desserts are just as good as they look. I can go on and on but there is just to much to tell. Every Italian fan needs to stop here, matter if you live or visit NYC.

It's a huge Italian-themed food store. You can buy fresh groceries as well as get prepared foods. There is a vegetarian mini-restaurant that serves simple plant-based entrees. The vegetables are fresh and taste good. Only drawback is that it's very pricey. Eataly is good if you want to splurge.

Huge tourist stop with lots of yummy stations with different deliciousness and also a great place to get Italian groceries. I highly recommend Lydias Tuscan Arriabata, this is the best bottle of spaghetti sauce I've ever purchased. This place is worth a visit. I have to try the Nutella bar next time...

Buy true Italian foods and ingredients or just find a seat at any of the restaurants inside and eat it here. Huge delicious selection of foods and wines. Be prepared for crowds, since this place has many fans. This is not as intimate as its original shop in Italy, but you save on the flight there.

This place is amazing. We ate fresh pasta, then shopped. While shopping some of our group had espresso, some had fresh cannoli, and of course wine! Our meals were delicious and the atmosphere of this place is like no other! I think I could have spent all four days we were in NYC here, We loved it!
