Native prairie seed blends are typically scattered as one mix over a project site, which means natives are fighting against each other for the same space.

Naturalist, photographer and blogger Evan Barrientos describes the Henslow's sparrow as "an elusive and declining species that epitomizes why we need to manage our prairies so that the full range of habitat structure is present."

The Henslow's Sparrow...one of several heard-but-seldom-seen prairie sparrows that inspired the name of my Company.
