I stopped by yesterday and they have the best Teriyaki chicken and the portions are large and the prices are great, I certainly will be going there again soon. Even if you live on the other side of town it is worth the drive. Great to find a wonder place to eat in Portland

Best Hawaiian food I have ever had. Anywhere. My god... my taste buds are still dancing. Rarely does a meal leave me speechless, but I was at a loss for words when I finished my meal. Just go and find out for yourself.

My office made a visit to the Bamboo Grove in late December for our 2013 Christmas dinner/party (a group of 16 of us). We were very disappointed - We paid $500 for a full roosted pig, which was cold and very dry. Not one of us enjoyed the meat. We also tried to order a number of their specialty beverages and they were out of a lot of them (both beer and cocktails). It was very disappointing!! The only reason I am giving them 2 starts (vs 1 star) is because we got good service from Sam our waiter and because the sides were good. But paying $500 for something we had to throw away, will keep us all from making another visit.

Everything we have tried is good here ... everything. Kalua pig is by far our favorite. I like the ribs. Macaroni salad. Drinks - both non-alcoholic and otherwise. Service is fast and friendly, portions large, served hot.

What a find. Very good, authentic Hawaiian food & decor. We started with the tuna appetizer. The tuna was extremely fresh and not "smelly" at all. Sauces were excellent. We got the kaluha pork and spicy chicken, and both were again top notch. Service was good if not a little laid back, and pricing was extremely reasonable. The outdoor patio is a very nice change of pace.

You can't beat this place for delicious Hawaiian. It's just not the food - the atmosphere is so comfortable that it is easy to just drift off. I love the Loco Moco (great gravy) and the Rib Eye steaks are fantastic. If you haven't been, you need to go!
