CMC Rifle's ceramics and Rifle artists got a nice shout-out in this article. Along with five other CMC communities - Aspen, Breck, Carbondale,  Glenwood, and Edwards- Rifle was named one of the most artistically vibrant small cities in the U.S.  We love the arts. (And our artists. )
Glenwood Springs has been named the No. 1 small city in the nation in the first-ever “Arts Vibrancy Index” compiled by Southern Methodist University’s National Center for Arts Research. “Glenwood

My experience with the Rifle CMC has been great so far. I am only a freshman, but I definitely would recommend it to all. It is affordable and a great place to get an education. The staff is nice and very helpful. It has made my college experience a great one. I love this school!

I took the Fall 2014 Spanish 1 course. The instructor was super knowledgeable and friendly! I learned a lot, and am looking forward to taking the Spanish 2 course.

I am not happy with Colorado Mountain College Administration. I paid $60.00 for Kiln firing. I had one graze firing this semester and I am STILL waiting for 21 pieces that have not been fired. I will not take another pottery class until it is done right. The pottery students pay and the money is not used for pottery, we need supplies also. We did not have graze availability no Vegas Red no Purple Plum very low on colors. I have to rate it with five stars because I love doing pottery but adm. needs to step it up.

Rifle CMC, thank you! Every step of the way, the faculty and staff were great towards assisting their students. I know I've received more help and knowledge than I could ever hope to return. There are so many good people here from teachers to counselors willing to help anyone. For a person like me whose schedule was and is always chaotic, they found and made time for me as a student and as a person on multiple occasions, making time out of their agenda (sometimes minutes inbetween heir projects) to address my needs and concerns. What student wouldn't appreciate that! This school makes it easy to further your education around your own schedule, work and personal life. I definitely feel prepared and accomplished with my educational experience here.

I love CMC. It is affordable quality education. I have learned more in my 2 semesters at CMC than I have through my previous high school and college experience. Thanks to all who make it possible.

My situation is perhaps a little different than most young folks headed to college after high school. I am 52, and just able to get the education I always wanted but had put off to raise a family and deal with life's unexpected twists and turns. I now hold my Associates of Applied Science in Accounting. The education I received through Colorado Mountain College has been wonderful. The Rifle campus, in Western Garfield County, is where I took my courses, as well as online. The professors are some of the best at what they do, and took an active interest in my personal progress, which made a huge difference. The Math department in Rifle, and my hero, Tracy White, made the journey an incredible experience that I will cherish forever. Working on my Bachelor's in Business Administration, with three semesters to go, at CMC now. I would highly recommend Colorado Mountain College for any one looking to pursue a degree or certificate, or even just their GED. The people couldn't be friendlier, and the knowledge is waiting!
