- We're looking into updating our yard too, though our adjustment are mostly intended to work on the water conservation front. So... minus the front yard lawn, replaced by attractive drought resistant and light watering plants. Though it's feels a little late to start the replacement yard... I suspect it would have been a better March project.Apr 1, 2014
- I think that depends on what you're putting into your yard. It certainly wouldn't hurt to explore the idea with the local nursery. I know that in talking things over with our local nursery, they told us that the best time to trim stuff is just after it finishes blooming and either before winter or after winter (but not during winter).
Plants benefit from the overgrowth during the winter since it helps them retain more heat and survive cold winters.Apr 5, 2014
