This sorry scientist is a liar and someone that will tell you that 2+2=5 just to convince us God does not exist. The least the scientific community should do is stop him teaching science and label him dishonest.

I was pretty surprised when I found that out. Craig was pretty miffed about it, too. It's hard to tell when he's upset about something but he devoted an entire podcast to it.

I'm also surprised there isn't a bigger scandal over it. It's not on Krauss's Wikipedia page, but it ought to be. Maybe I'll try getting back into editing over there and fix it.

Having my book signed by the author himself, Prof William Lane Craig at the University of Birmingham after listening to his lecture on the Kalam Cosmological Argument for the existence of God.

Something wrong with the graph.

Deceptive to clearly favour Orthodox. The first part of the big red arrow should be "Universal true church" Catholic means universal.

"Around the year A.D. 107, a bishop, St. Ignatius of Antioch in the Near East, was arrested, brought to Rome by armed guards and eventually martyred there in the arena. In a farewell letter which this early bishop and martyr wrote to his fellow Christians in Smyrna (today Izmir in modern Turkey), he made the first written mention in history of "the Catholic Church." He wrote, "Where the bishop is present, there is the Catholic Church" (To the Smyrnaeans 8:2). Thus, the second century of Christianity had scarcely begun when the name of the Catholic Church was already in use."

https://www.ewtn.com/faith/teachings/churb3.htm

"the "Martyrdom of St. Polycarp," bishop of the same Church of Smyrna to which St. Ignatius of Antioch had written. St. Polycarp was martyred around 155, and the account of his sufferings dates back to that time. The narrator informs us that in his final prayers before giving up his life for Christ, St. Polycarp "remembered all who had met with him at any time, both small and great, both those with and those without renown, and the whole Catholic Church throughout the world."

We know that St. Polycarp, at the time of his death in 155, had been a Christian for 86 years. He could not, therefore, have been born much later than 69 or 70. Yet it appears to have been a normal part of the vocabulary of a man of this era to be able to speak of "the whole Catholic Church throughout the world."

Which contains the earliest recorded evidence of the use of the term "catholic church".

"Atheism comes in many irreducibly different forms, among which the variety being promoted at the present time looks strikingly banal and parochial."
The long read: The vocal fervour of today’s missionary atheism conceals a panic that religion is not only refusing to decline –but in fact flourishing

When I say, “I am a Christian” I’m not shouting, “I’ve been saved!” I’m whispering, “I get lost sometimes, That’s why I chose this way”. When I say, “I am a Christian”I don’t speak with human pride, I’m confessing that I stumble -needing God to be my guide. When I say, “I am a Christian, ”I’m not trying to be strong, I’m professing that I’m weak and pray for strength to carry on. When I say, “I am a Christian, ”I’m not bragging of success, I’m admitting that I’ve failed and cannot ever pay the debt. When I say, “I am a Christian”I don’t think I know it all, I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught. When I say, “I am a Christian, ”I’m not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible but God believes I’m worth it. When I say, “I am a Christian”I still feel the sting of pain I have my share of heartache which is why I seek God’s name. When I say, “I am a Christian”I do not wish to judge, I have no authority I only know I’m loved. Carol Wimmer

Can't wait to be back when the foliage will be green. Took hundreds of photos, snowed the night before when we visited which gave the place a surreal air of loneliness. But the warmth of the staff more than made the visit admirable. Rated excellent all around.
