I have been pretty much weaning myself off Google+ anyway, but today I bid adieu to Google+ in keeping with my promise to leave when they sunsetted Google Reader.  I might be back some day, if Google wins me back, but for now I am signing off.  You can follow me on Twitter at scotbuff or on my neglected blog -

I had my first pizza and subs of my life made by this man.  I ate so many slices of his pizza during my youth that I still compare any pizza to his.  RIP Sal.

Still searching for my first hole in one.  I hope I do not have to wait that long.  RIP fellow golfer.

That is probably closer than my closest.  I have had balls go over the hole but going way too fast, I have hit pins, again too fast.

My closest as far as I know was on an island hole at South Hills GC in Hanover, PA sometime in the mid to late 1990s.  Playing with Kurt Albin I hit a shot just past the hole that back spinned the ball within about two inches of the hole heading directly for it.  Kurt thought I had it, but it was not meant to be.

I just bought new clubs for the first time since the late 1990s.  I bought a Callaway set and it is the first set of clubs where I can succesfully hit all the clubs.  I hit them for the first time Tuesday evening and hit very well.  I have no touch with any of the clubs at the moment though.  Meaning, my short game is going to be horrible, as well as my approach shots.  I am playing a round of golf when I goto Kitty Hawk, my first round in 10 years.

I contributed, but I wish it were opening in one of the communities outside of Harrisburg.

This is the newspaper I delivered from my bicycle when I was a kid.  From age 12 until almost age 17 I delivered and collected subscription money.  I was amongst the paper carriers of the year during some of those years.  Do kids even deliver papers anymore?
