Oh how the food has deteriorated since I was here last year. Took 45 mins for our pizzas to come. They bought the wrong pizzas but as we didn't want to wait another 45 mins we had them. Pizza was very dry and tasteless with hardly any tomato sauce or cheese. Had to pick off mushrooms (as allergic to them which is why I ordered one without mushrooms). Told the waiter and he was very apologetic and said it was his error and the bill was on the house, so credit to him. The ginger beer was nice though. So mixed feelings really.

This place may well serve good food, but lucky are those who actually get served - we walked in at 8 pm on Saturday and our request for the menu was turned down although we easily found a table and could get drinks. When we saw a neighbouring table placing orders about 10 minutes later, we asked the waiter what the reason was for us being turned down and were told that the kitchen was too busy to take another order -- bizarre. Perhaps this is place for some, but not for others?

Cracking wee cafe and record store. This is a great place to spend and afternoon. Veggie / Vegan place with great food and atmosphere. It can get pretty busy at the weekend but mid-week (and before a gig) it's excellent.

I absolutely love this restaurant in Glasgow, the food is out of this world. You won't believe the deserts are vegan they are so creamy and beautifully presented. The portions are generous and they even have their own ginger beer which is a must try. The space is open and comfortable and the staff are attentive and friendly and very open to accommodating dietary restrictions and adapting dishes to suit. I wish they would open a place like this in Edinburgh, it's worth a trip to Glasgow just for such hearty meat-free fare.

The microbrewed drinks are fantastic, couldn't pick just one favourite. Nice atmosphere while food looked well presented - will need to return to try!

Often exclusively vegetarian restaurants can come with an air of superiority, this is not the case with mono. Wonderfully friendly staff and a really exciting vegetarian menu. Also great for a quick drink with a lovely outdoor space just off one of the main shopping streets. The other fantastic aspect of Mono is that it is also a record shop which plays host to the ever growing Record Store Day. Great to satisfy all of your vinyl needs.

My daughter and I had a really good food experience at Mono (this was our first time), we both had the soup and sandwich , the bloody Mary soup was refreshing and tangy and the Falafel wrap was to die for, all fresh and fantastically healthy ingredients. We will definitely return to try out more of the menu, the only downside was its difficult to get a table if you just turn up, its better to book in advance I think :).
