Did you know?

Failure to fruit well in tomato and pepper is usually caused by heat stress. High temperatures (above 90-95 degrees) or nights above about 75 can cause this problem. Heat stress is worsened when combined with moisture stress.

You can try mulching the plants with 2 to 3 inches of organic mulch like straw, chopped leaves, or grass clippings to help keep the soil cool and moist.
