Great place. Excellent atmosphere and service. Food is exactly what you would expect from Jamie and such good value. Loved it!!!

Good Italian food. I like the option of having a smaller portion. Place can get quite busy, but you can sit outside if it is too noisy inside. The waitress was really nice and suggested some good dishes. We will visit again

I looked forward to a visit to Jamie's Italian while in London recently. I thought I would break a tooth on the Bruschetta, couldn't even cut it with knife provided. Topping was yummy. I ordered Penne Carbonara with smoked pancetta and leeks. What I got was Rigatoni which was so dried out that it was stuck together. It seemed to have been left sitting, absorbing the sauce then re-heated. The 5 pieces of pancetta were tasteless and mostly gristle. My dining companion had arancini which was delicious and she said the fish special was very good. My pasta meal on Air Canada on my flight home was far superior to Jamie's. I'm glad to be back in Toronto where we know how to cook Italian. I would not recommend Jamie's Italian - the best thing was the napkins of which I brought a set of 4 home.

The waiters were pleasant. However, the food was terrible. I ordered the lobster and spaghetti. The portion was unequivocal to the cost (only 4-5 bites of lobster) and was not worth what I paid for it.

What a disappointment. I ate here over a year ago, and was satisfied; last night, I would rather have eaten at McDonald's. First and foremost, it was too loud - akin to eating at a Hard Rock Cafe. We waited 45 minutes to be seated. Our glasses were dirty. The starters simply had no flavour. My bruschetta tasted like it was a microwave version from Iceland. Out of the five mains at out table, only one had any taste. My ink squid pasta was like eating cardboard with cheese on it,, this was the dish that I enjoyed over a year ago. Honestly, the food could not have been more disappointing. A complete waste of money. Only positives were a friendly, attentive server and decent wine. Jamie, you have obviously let quality and good food go to the wayside. Not going again any time soon.

Service was fine. Food was awful. Chicken overcooked. Tasteless salad and a ruined overripe avocado. This is fast food rubbish.

My wife loves Jamie Olivier's recipes. For our anniversary, I took her to this restaurant and we had an amazing dinner. Rich menu, great combination of ingredients and high quality wine. She loved the Superfood salad. Lovely atmosphere and great service. We will definitely visit it again.

One of the worst meals I have had in a long time. The staff were great but the food was pretty rubbish. I had a burger, the bun was toasted but this just made it really dry and fall apart and the burger itself was also dry, I didn't think this was possible but I have been proved wrong. My girlfriend is vegetarian and had three sides, normally not a problem. The mixed vegetables was stir-fried kale, the 'kale slaw' was just kale and mint, failed to see how that could be classed as a 'slaw'. The chips were also dry and closer to crisps than fries. The staff were polite, fast and not too pushy; the ambience and decor was nice. In summary if you are in Upper St Martins lane looking for food, go to Bill's next door, Dishoom just up the road or Rossopomodoro if you really want Italian. After waiting ages to go I am thoroughly disappointed and will not be going ever again.
