Two Awards !! Joy and pride Doubled.
Both my blogs ....yes unbelievably both my digital babies have made me so proud today by winning in their respective categories- Poetry and Hindi Blogs.
Gratitude to all my readers who have stayed on unconditionally for almost eight years now, and especially my friends who have fueled this madness, held my hand in times of writing blocks and content despair.
I owe so much of what I have been able to write and create and who I am evolving to be to each one of you.
Thank you for being co-learners in this rewarding journey.
Keep the inspiration and the support coming !
I will keep my part of the deal- keep the madness going and committing poetry in both languages.
@WomensWeb honored and humbled !

"Good Indian girls
do not utter prohibited words
Fantasy, ecstasy is overwritten
by celibacy and virginity
The line that was drawn
to keep Sita safe
is still strong in its invisibility"
This poem inspired by the Hindi movie Queen, is something I wanted to write ever since I saw it.
