Seychelles holds the largest remaining population of the critically endangered hawksbill turtle in the Western Indian Ocean, with peak nesting being November-January and therefore peak hatching occurring January-March. There is nothing quite like watching these little turtles running down the beach and meeting the great ocean for the first time
