It's about time. Why this wasn't released with the Kinect is beyond me, but it's a great move to make any Kinect game a fitness game.

I'm starting to wonder if Apple missed something with the MacBook update. I was planning to buy one, but now it's hard to say what to get. Retina is clearly on the way across the line. The only retina machine available is out of my price range so wait for another update again? Go "cheap" on an Air and upgrade again in a year or two?

Does anyone else wonder if it drives Apple nuts that I have to use a music app to sync my iPhone, even if I don't have music to sync with the device?

On July 24, 2010, thousands of people around the world recorded videos of their lives to take part in Life in a Day, a cinematic experiment to document a single day on earth. From more than 4,500 hours of footage recorded and uploaded to YouTube, Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald and executive producer Ridley Scott created a 90-minute feature film that offers an entertaining, surprising and moving view of life on earth. After a theatrical r...

Excellent news for folks like me. Upgrading on Sunday and the unboxing is half the fun. Hate it when the stores insist on doing it themselves.

I think this is a good article about influence on Google+, but also applies to Twitter and Facebook. I can tweet a lot and share expertise, but is that worth anything if it doesn't engage discussion or new thoughts (even if not on Twitter) or effect change in some fashion?

I was asked earlier today why I liked Google+ as much as I do. My only reply so far is that the conversations are better than anywhere else. The problem right now is that the people who instigated those conversations in the beginning aren't showing up in my stream any more. Presumably as I've added more people to my circles, those new folks share more often and push people down. While they are also sharing interesting things, it's starting to have a Facebook-like quality of links to uninteresting items or self-promotion without giving reason for learning more beyond the "I'm Awesome!"-style post.

The nice part is that I have total control and can remove those people quickly from my circles (and I will be at least until the fascinating people start appearing again). The bad part: the fascinating people may be sharing they're most interesting posts with their circles of which I am not a member. That's sort of the point, right? It would be sad, though, if the awesome discussions that took place publicly in the first days of Google+ have been withdrawn behind the veil of a Circle.

I'll find out with some certainty soon as I reduce my Circles a bit, but I hope that the items I found fascinating are waiting for me.

interesting article, it really is going to be intriguing to see how google+ continues to develop and how people and business ultimately end up using the tool. Seems everyone is still feeling their way around at the moment and trying to figure out proper etiquette still.
