Always return to this great restaurant when I'm in Santa Monica and this year was as good as ever. Great place to eat & drink. Had the Mahi Mahi tacos this time and one of their mango Mojito which were excellent. Strongly recommend and will be returning once more next year.

Drinks rad. Asked for a spicy margarita (it was not on the menu and I didn't want the Spicy Orange Margarita - wasn't feeling orange) and they made an awesome habanero margarita that satisfied my craving for spicy. Food was good, but between the entrees for lunch, some portions were much larger than others, leaving some still feeling hungry. The hostess seemed pretty clueless, but the wait staff was more than accommodating. I will definitely be coming back for Happy Hour - unlimited guacamole for $5 and tequila flights! Definitely not authentic Mexican, but the food was good and the drinks were even better. Ask for the habanero salsa - super spicy with an awesome kick at the end. Chips were served warm and crispy. Park in the mall lot - validated after 2 1/2 hours, but worth it even if you're there for less (90 minutes free, $1 an hour after).

Flavoursome food in a setting that feels old-Mex, though it's on top of a mall. The bar seating with the hydraulic windows is very hip & urban (even if it's not actually on the street) Some vegetarian options, more would be nice. The complimentary corn chip + salsa make the guac redundant, though, and as with all of the US, the helpings were well beyond a standard portion, so sadly no room for pudding. US service - a little intense, but friendly.

This is one of the nicest sit-down Mexican restaurant I know of in west LA. The Horchata is very good and cheese enchiladas are excellent.

Truly great upscale Mexican. Old favorites and new takes on them. Great ambiance but the usual too noisy. The guacamole is prepared table-side and is a must
