We love this blog from +The Cruise Line - a really surprising look at +Disney Cruiseline, and how they have a genuine classic touch to what they do (unlike many other mega-ship lines these days): http://www.cruiseline.co.uk/blog/disney-does-classic-cruising/

We are always keen to highlight some of the more off-the-beaten track parts of Florida, in addition to all the fun of Orlando. In the past we have featured the likes of Stuart, Gulfport, Mount Dora, Winter Garden and Winter Haven as great places in their own right, either as a day visit or somewhere for a night or two. Amelia Island doesn't quite qualify as off-the-beaten-track, but it is largely new to UK visitors. So we made it the subject of this week's blog for Attraction Tickets Direct, and we think it should be on everyone's list for a visit in future: https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/orlando/latest-news/five-reasons-amelia-island-should-be-your-next-florida-get-away

We finally managed to spend some extended time this week in West Volusia, which is the county area immediately north of Seminole County (which is, in turn, immediately north of Orlando and Orange County!). We'd been hearing an increasing number of positive stories about the many attractions of the area, and how the town of DeLand has become the epi-centre of a genuine 'small-town America' revival.

Intrigued, we managed to put together a 2-day trip (it is only about an hour's drive from Orlando, but there is a LOT to do, hence we stayed overnight) and were fully rewarded for our time spent in DeLand, Blue Springs State Park, DeLeon Springs and the spiritualist community of Cassadaga.

We will have more to say about it in due course (as Deland in particular is a really happening place), but it made the ideal subject for this week's ATD blog: https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/orlando/latest-news/what-do-psychics-manatees-and-fluffy-pancakes-have-common

OK, so it's not a professional video (no tripod, etc, but it oes capture the essential style and 'Wow!' factor of SeaWorld's new show

Orlando's SeaWorld park is in the process of changing its emphasis from a 'show' park to an 'experience' park, with a mixture of compelling rides and animal habitats. The latest part of this transformation is the re-working of their Kraken roller-coaster into Kraken Unleashed, with full virtual reality aspect. It is great fun and a real 'Wow!' moment for the park. Here's what we said about it in this week's blog for Attraction Tickets Direct: https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/seaworld-orlando/latest-news/kraken-unleashed
