Birmingham City Council is excited to be recruiting its first Local Area Coordinators to work in the Boldmere, Lozells and West Heath areas of the City. Local Area Coordination is a long term, evidence based approach to supporting people of all ages (e.g. living with disabilities, mental health issues, older people etc.) and their families/carers to build and pursue their personal vision for a good life and to stay strong, safe and connected as contributing citizens. Local Area Coordination will also complement the radical changes we are making to our social work offer to adults with care and support needs.

Come and find out more about this role today, Tuesday 11 December, between 2pm to 7pm. We are holding an information session for applicants at the Kenrick Centre, Mill Farm Road, Harborne, Birmingham B17 0QX.

It is not too late to apply, the closing date is 16 December. Full details can be found on this website - http://socsi.in/C3H2Q
