Fresh Ideas and Crisp Content give CFF Ltd Food for Thought
People outside the catering industry may not immediately make the link between fresh food distribution and the world of digital marketing.
However, when you appreciate that very short timescales are involved in finding products, placing orders and making sure that the produce arrives as fresh as possible, the connection becomes clear.
Country Fresh Foods (CFF) Ltd are no strangers in leading the way in their industry, having invested heavily in their production equipment and logistics, they needed to portray themselves as a modern, advanced company to the outside world, at the same time as allowing their customers to view the produce available, look for seasonal goods and look at the special offers available.
With this in mind, CFF turned to Jigsaw DPM to develop a stunning web presence that would stand out from their competitors and provide their customers with a user friendly experience when they were searching for the ingredients they required.
With a full understanding of the company and what they wanted to achieve from their website, we started development. This included the creation of wireframes and visuals to give CFF an idea of what could be achieved, as well as a proposed site map so that we understood how the site would fit together.
We also wrote the text for each of the pages, including product classifications, based on our discussions with CFF and our own research. On top of this, our photographer spent several days on site taking product shots to ensure that there were pictures of the entire product range. When you take a look at the site, you will appreciate the scope of this part of the project alone.
Once the photography was complete our designers took over to produce artwork for the website which gave it a classy yet contemporary feel.
With all of this in the bag, we were then able to build a website (countryfreshfoods.co.uk) which met the needs of CFF and exceeded their expectations.

Jigsaw gets a new piece
As Jigsaw DPM continues to grow, we have recently taken the opportunity to add an additional piece to our team. This piece is in the form of Sarah Gardner, who is joining us as Sales and Account Management Executive.
Sarah brings with her more than 15 years’ experience of working in business, with a strong understanding of account management and customer service.

Full power ahead for re-brand
Developing a new brand is always an exciting prospect so when we were asked to re-brand a growing business in a relatively short timescale we were certainly up for the challenge.
When approached by leading power system specialist, Power Control Ltd, we knew from the onset that time wasn’t on our side. However, having previously worked with the Derbyshire based company we were confident that we already had a good understanding of their business and what made them tick and were aware of their requirements.
It promised to be a complex and interesting project as it included reviewing and developing the whole brand following a recent change in the company’s operations. PCL has been a prominent and highly influential emergency power authority for more than two decades and so the re-brand needed to build on its reputation whilst also giving it a fresh new look to reflect its growing status.
From the creation of icons through to the development of a completely new website, we worked closely with the company to craft a new brand. Our designers devised different options before the innovative new brand was unveiled complete with new icons, logo, colour palette and artwork.
As part of the comprehensive branding project we designed and produced corporate signage, for both indoors and outdoors, and devised printed material including business cards, letterheads and folders with inserts.
We also put together targeted and attention grabbing magazine adverts and produced newly branded marketing products including lanyards and stress cubes before completing the new website too - and all within the short deadline. Our creative commercial photographer, meanwhile, put together a library of new photographic images that perfectly complemented the company’s nationwide reputation as an innovative provider of project solutions.
He took an innovative approach to the photo shoot creating original images for use in the PCL’s new website.

Website gets the Jigsaw treatment
When the acclaimed Rejuve Aesthetics clinic took a fresh look at its brand and decided to give its website a makeover it enlisted our help.
Our brief was to create a site for them that not only looked good but it had to work hard too. The new site needed to reflect the established reputation of the Sheffield clinic and also be informative, attract new clients and strengthen customer relationships.

Friends in high places

Professional squash player, Ashley Davies, who is sponsored by Jigsaw DPM, recently featured at an exhibition tournament 'A Night with the Champions' at Sheffield's Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club, alongside some of the best players in the world.
 
At the event, Ashley was rubbing shoulders with the likes of Mohammed Elshorbagy, 2nd right in the picture (number 2 in the world) Nick Matthew, far right (current World Champion, Commonwealth Gold Medallist and world number 3) and Laura Massaro, far left (current World Champion, Commonwealth Gold Medallist and world number 2).
 
The exhibition tournament was organised to raise money for Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club to host a PSA event next year. It also provided Ashley with invaluable experience of playing with the elite!

Sharp designs for Doncaster Laser Services
 
Our multidisciplinary service and demand for quality has helped us to deliver a contemporary range of marketing materials for Doncaster Laser Services, including a novel folder design and service information sheets.
 
We worked closely with the customer to produce copy that accurately reflected their capabilities and to develop a look and feel that represented them as a modern company, able to stand out from the competition. Clever use of die cutting allowed us to showcase strong imagery from Doncaster Laser Services.
 
We also used our network of suppliers to source high-quality printing and finishing at a competitive price, much to the delight of Nic McDermott, Sales and Marketing Manager at Doncaster Laser Services: “We really love the finished product – many thanks to you and the rest of the Jigsaw team for your continued help and support with this project!”

Digitally savvy firms lead the way
Digital marketing and social media sites are rapidly transforming the way business is carried out meaning small firms are in danger of being left behind.
The UK Business Digital Index recently revealed that three quarters of small businesses and charities surveyed were not investing in digital skills and only half had their own website. It comes on top of the fact that eight out of 10 customers are said to be more likely to buy in the future based on a brand’s presence on social media.
Jigsaw’s Mark Shipley explained: “Customers expect to find businesses on the web and if they don’t instantly find online the business they are looking for then they are sure to find an alternative solution right there.”
Using regular E-shots and linking to social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest not only increases brand awareness but can also be used to drive customers to the company website. Targeting different platforms can make a big difference to how businesses market themselves.
“Digital marketing can be very powerful in boosting business,” added Mark. “If done effectively it can be a simple way of reaching out to a much larger audience and raising awareness.”
