Fuji offers a fun dining experience for both small and large parties. I always enjoy the friendly service that I receive at Fuji and the cooks are always happy to put on a show. It's a great restaurant to take small children who need a little entertainment while waiting for their food, and there is a koi pond at the entrance that I always see children lined up around. I have also never had a wait at Fuji which is definitely a plus.

Standard hibachi grill. It's always fun to watch them make food right in front of you, and the kids love the fire. Food is tasty, but not exceptional. Good restaurant relative to other suburban options.

We should have turned back the minute we entered the door. The walls were rusting out, the kitchen looked dirty, and the vegetables were NOT the freshest. However, we figured this place deserved a chance. We were wrong. The food was mediocre, however one of the members of my family was food poisoned. This place needs to be condemned, or at least receive a visit from a health inspector.

The chefs needto easy up on the sauce they cook with on the grill. Everything taste the same because of the sauce is put in everything and lots of it. The sauce is also very high in sodium. Watch out of you have high blood pressure. I did not try the sushi. I will not be returning.

The service was beyond awful. My child like to eat the seaweed paper that sushi is wrapped in. When we asked the waitress if we could get some, she said, "No!". Then we talked to the manager and he was nice and got us a few sheets. When my children wanted more the waitress said it would be $1 for 3 piece. That was fine with us. We did not expect to get it for free. She brought over 2 pieces. So my children went to the sushi bar and asked for another piece. The person working there say, "You have to give me $2.00!" My 7 year old does not carry cash. I did talk with the manager after the meal and expressed my displeasure and later he called my friend to apologize, and offered her a gift certificate, but spending over $130.00 for a ruined meal. The call was to little to late.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great. The service itself was good and the waiter was very professional. However I can't give four or more stars because I had issues with how the food was distributed. My friend and I ordered food similar to the other people at the table (where they cook in front of you) and the chef did a HORRIBLE job of evenly distributing. 1st example: everyone got complimentary shrimp but some of the people got at least 6 pieces each while me and my friend got only 1 piece each (and I'm pretty sure we didn't do anything to make the chef or waiter mad at us to deserve that). 2nd Example: The chicken and vegetables we ordered had a noticeable difference in distribution. Not as big as the shrimp issue, but still noticeable. Some people had half their plate full of the chicken and veggies but our plates clearly had less. Overall, the chef was lucky that he didn't give us too little to fill our stomachs. But we still paid roughly the same amount of money as the rest of the people at the table (which was expensive!) so it's only right that he should've been more careful. Again, the food was at least tasty and the service was generally good. But the unfair distribution made the meal value fall a little short of the money I paid, so I can't give four stars or higher. Even the cool performance given by the chef is not enough to make up for billing issue I had.
