I like the way this dealership sells trucks. The window sticker was accompanied by another document that detailed all the rebates and discounts. The bottom line was much lower then other dealerships I visited who start with MSRP and then expected to haggle. It was also refreshing that this dealership did not nickel and dime me with documentation and other dealer fees. I paid "0" fees other then those they are legally obligated to collect such as tax and license.

The sales team gave me top price for my trade in. They made it clear that I should feel free to shop the deal and they were confident nobody could beat it. I don't think anyone else could have.

I'm very happy with Wiscasset Ford! I received a good deal and Spencer Grinnell and Josh Emerson went out of there way to make me happy and found rebates that really helped out, with bringing down the final price. Thank you Wiscasset Ford!

Richard Allen was AWESOME to work with! I had had a bad expierence with another Ford Dealer in Augusta and Richard took all of that into consideration when dealing with me. Richard put me at ease and explained everything before and as it was happening. I was given a high trade in vallue for my car and received a GREAT Deal on my new Ford Edge and I love, love, love it! I will FOREVER be a customer of Wiscasset Ford!

I bought a 2010 Honda Civic from salesman John Green. During the process I asked John if there was anything wrong with the car I should know about since I have been troubled with used-car problems before. John assured me they take care of their cars and that I would be satisfied. Well 3 months down the road, my practically new car with 40k miles starts overheating randomly. I have my mechanic check out the problem and come to find the car was in a low impact crash and had a radiator that was busted and patched together enough to last about 1000 miles or 30 days (their POS warranty at Wiscasset Ford). Point taken, if you buy a car from them make sure it's brand new and if they try to have you "sign off" on anything desperately take it as a sign of caution. Dishonest business.

My husband and i had been saving for months to get enough to buy a new car. I knew exactly what i wanted and Wisscasset ford happended to have one, a 2005 mazda 6. We'd looked at the vehicle on several occasions over a 4 month period when visiting to Wisscasset. Finally we had enough cash to go buy one. Yes i said CASH. We didn't want a car payment. After visiting literally every dealership from Saco to Augusta looking for a mazda 6's. We then traveled an hour to Wisscasset to test drive the car. David Bryer one of their sales reps came to help us with the vehicle. He was extremely rude to us. When we stated that we planned to buy in cash he harassed us to try to get us into a payment plan. He then tried to tell me my trade wasn't good enough for them, that $200 was the best they could do for a mint 2001 cougar, after Lee Toyota in Topsham had earlier in the day offered us $600 starting ( they later offered up to $1,000) and when I laughed and told him of Toyota's offer he blatantly called me a liar. and i quote " no dealership could possibly offer that much for a car in that year and still stay in business." too bad Toyota did. Then when we decided to see if it was still possible for us to buy the car without a the trade we had planned to do, we came to $107.65 away from the price. We asked if we could try to negotiate the $107 and he told us too bad to come back when we had the amount in full or we could choose to do a payment plan and trade was still an option. When my husband asked for him to speak to the manager and see if we could come to some kind of agreement, he told us to have a nice day and got up and left us sitting at his desk with the paperwork. HE JUST WALKED AWAY FROM A GUARANTEED SALE OF A CAR (WHICH HAD BEEN SITTING ON THEIR LOT SINCE OCTOBER AND IT WAS NOW MARCH).... JUST WALKED OFF!!! So moral of my rant is don't buy a car from these guys. If your looking for a good car go visit Bill dodge in Brunswick and ask for Joe. He was great we fell for a car that was a two grand over our price and they worked with us to get it. 2005 Nissan they asked 9,995 and we got it for 7,199, it totaled 8,000 including tax, title and doc fees ( and that was without a trade) Don't let their full car lot mistake you, there's a reason they have the most cars just sitting on their lot. It's because they aren't willing to appeal to the customers enough to get a sale. Yes i really loved that car it drives nice it had everything i wanted in the car and was even the color i wanted, i could have waited a week and gone back and bought the car but why would i or anyone else want to buy a car from a dealership and get treated that way? especially in this kind of economy, why would you want to spend your hard earned money for a car that's over priced and knowing the commission is going to a salesmen what could care less about his customers? No thank you. And when it comes time to buy a new car a few years down the road i'll never even consider setting a foot back onto their lot even again and i'll make sure to let everyone i know about what happened and make sure they don't buy from them either and i got a lot of family in Wisscasset. I hope this help you whom ever you car that is reading this.

Be careful. This dealerships business model is obviously based on moving cars fast without much concern for the consumer. I went in to look at a used 2013 Ford Explorer XLT that was priced very well. I found they are not willing to negotiate price, used the "it'll be gone this weekend" line, and won't hold a vehicle with a deposit so you can do your own financing. I did end up making a deal on the car and while waiting for my financing gave it the once over again. I discovered a massive dent on the lower section of the rear door that I somehow overlooked. It was hard to see due to the black color and being so low on the door but it was quite substantial. The sales woman claimed she had no idea and when we checked with another sales rep he said "oh yea, I know". No one ever disclosed that. They said they'd fix it but at my cost. Yea right, I'm going to spend $26k on a vehicle and then pay for a repair. I drove 1.5hrs to look at that car and wasted half a day. Buyer beware.

Great car buying experience. I went in knowing what I wanted and what I could afford. There was no pressure to try to sell me on something different. I went in pre-approved with one lender and they were able to get me an even better loan from another one despite a fair-poor credit rating. Other dealerships I have dealt with have refused to offer me anything other than their "special credit" with ridiculous rates or were just plain condescending. the staff at Wiscasset Ford were extremely respectful and put in a lot of extra effort to get me what I wanted. I will recommend them to my friends and family!

Let's put it this way... Wiscasset Ford is the only dealer I have ever bought a vehicle from where I didn't remove the dealer sticker from the back. Wizford is the antithesis of a prototypical car dealer. They are unfailing nice, no pressure ever and have an absolutely astounding service team. Their prices are fair. No hidden fees or gimmicks. Wiscasset Ford - the way a car dealer should be!

Great sales experience. I shopped around and this was the best price in the area.
