It was such a perfect experience! Came here with my hubby and got the couple's massage with steam and dry brushing... Ahhhh First of all this place is top notch! super clean and very peaceful. Everyone here is professional, friendly, and trying their best to make your experience as perfect as possible. Melody & Charlene were really amazing. They were very attentive to our needs and very friendly! They worked magic on us! We left the place feeling extremely relaxed and happy! We will definitely be coming here again.

Tip: Watercourse Way offers private soaking tubs and showers as well as private massage rooms. Whatever your preference is, Watercourse Way is the epitome of zen and a relaxed atmosphere.

Overpriced but the hot tub rooms are nice
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
I'm disappointed that you weren't more impressed, Ben. We only settle for the best quality in every aspect of our facility, but we're sorry that the prices aren't to your liking. I hope you'll come back and see us again in the future. Warmly, Sue

Watercourse Way gets high marks for date night. The environment is restful and zenlike - without being too frou-frou. My husband and I have been here a number of times, and we always go with the couples massage. It's a wonderfully-appointed room with a double steam shower (so much steam that you almost cannot see one another), two massage tables, relaxing music, and an overall wonderful experience for us. My husband normally falls asleep during the massage, which means he is in heaven. I usually go with the deep tissue (so sleeping is not the result), and I have never been disappointed. We will continue to go back to Watercourse Way!

I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn you that Watercourse Way has terrible customer service. I would highly recommend against coming here--especially to purchase a gift card. I tried to use a gift card, and they claimed that the gift card was "canceled" and that someone reported it lost or stolen. I inquired further and unfortunately their archaic system had no documentation of who called in or if the gift card was even replaced. My thoughtful friend, who purchased the gift card, finally got a hold of the manager who then claimed they had a history of giving a refund--the refund information was from a different credit card transaction and the date did not match. My friend provided evidence that her credit card was charged, and reiterated that the date did not match. Watercourse Way refused to acknowledge their mistake and would neither refund nor honor the gift card. We will be following up with the credit company, since this appears to be a blatant legal violation. Needless to say, Burke Williams is a much better option--any spa is better than Watercourse Way. Also, be warned that if you go to Watercourse Way, is highly likely that if you encounter a problem, the manager will most likely be unavailable. Next, the receptionist will apologize superfluously and promise that the manager will call you the next day, and you will not receive a call.

love coming here for their deep tissue and hot stone massages, but they are a bit overpriced. one thing that i don't like here is their ghetto massage rooms in the outdoor area. they aren't exactly relaxing.
Response from the owner - 9 months ago
We're sorry that our massage rooms weren't relaxing to you, Jen. We want every part of your experience to be pleasant and soothing. Maybe some time in one of our hot tub rooms would suit you better. Warmly, Sue

Going to Watercourse Way is a special treat for me (us really, me and the hubs). A once or twice a year special occasion. We get a tub room, and then separate massages afterwards. Afterwards we usually try to grab dinner at Evvia, which makes for a pretty amazing day. In the past we've done an hour tub, followed by hour long massages. The most recent visit we did an hour tub and hour and a half massages. AMAZEBALLS. My hubs has Swedish massage, I get deep tissue. Every massage therapist has been really good for each of us (we've been several times), no one stands out above the rest. Although, Francisco was my deep tissue massage therapist this last time, and he did a wonderful job (I would highly recommend him). Tub rooms THREE TRILLIUM: tub, shower, and resting area with skylight (my least favorite of the three rooms we've been in, which is not to say that it isn't awesome, the other two are just more awesome) EIGHT STARS: Moroccan vibe, spa, sauna, cold plunge, shower, skylight, resting area. MY FAVORITE ROOM. NINE BATS: Spa, steam, cold plunge, glass mural, shower, resting area. This is a really beautiful room with no natural light. If you are going out to dinner afterwards, they have hair dryers in the bathroom. So no need to lug yours with you. Want a discount? Pickup Spa Finder or Spa Wish gift cards at Costco. They are currently $79.99 for (2) $50 gift cards. That's a 20% discount!!!! Of course, always call prior to purchasing the GCs to make sure that Watercourse Way accepts the GCs still.

Expensive, but I've really enjoyed the baths here. As close as you can get in Palo Alto to something like Baden Baden (although Watercourse Way is a private experience).
Response from the owner - 2 years ago
I'm very happy you enjoy the baths so much, Thad, and I hope we can give you another relaxing escape very soon. Thank you for sharing this review! - Warmly, Sue
