It no secret that drugs and alcohol are devastating our families and communities and cost Canadians millions of dollars each year. In addition, cigarette smoking claims more lives than all other drugs and alcohol combined.
Thankfully, Westminster House program is a smoking cessation program that has the ability to help women reclaim their lives through our full continuum of care. Unfortunately, the full continuum of care is often overlooked. Aftercare is an essential component in the continuum to ensure lasting recovery.
We are reaching out today to request a donation for Westminster House programs. The donation will be used to continue the important work we do in the OnGoing Recovery Aftercare Program. Why not celebrate your good health by making a tax-deductible gift to Westminster House. Your gift will be an investment in the treatment of addiction. Every dollar makes a difference, so any contribution you can make this holiday season is greatly appreciated!
Heartfelt thanks,
Susan Hogarth | Executive Director
Westminster House Society
P.S. All donations will be posted on our donor board (unless specified otherwise)

Alumni Jordan Veller shared her story with Vancouver Sun’s reporters Daphne Bramham and Lori Culbert titled "Raising Recovery”. This is Jordan’s mothers story. Thank you to Barbara Veller for sharing this with us and our readers.

There are really no words we can say that express the anguish we suffered for the years that Jordan’s addiction had its hold on her. Four times she was in treatment before she went to Westminster House, those four times the highs for us and then the lows when “it didn’t work” – it was like a death every time. Every parent knows that seeing your child suffer is the worst pain for a parent. http://westminsterhouse.ca/testimonials/spotlight-barbara-veller/
