While at the University of Florida Herb helped start an E-commerce computer
hardware company with three friends that gave him a wonderful
opportunity to learn about operational management, business strategy and
planning. In 2004 he turned his focus towards marketing, sales and business development. Herb then joined the MECLABS (MarketingSherpa, MarketingExperiments
and InTouch) team in Q1 of 2007 with the primary responsibility of business
development and growing strategic partnerships to include content sponsorship,
speaking requests, custom training and affiliate program management.
Working very closely with the MarketingSherpa marketing, research and events team allowed Herb to build relationships with industry leading marketers from all over the world.
Currently: Running Online Potential inc, a startup digital marketing agency focused on lead generation and customer acquisition for B2B companies. Online Potential inc produces educational materials and also provides workshops, white papers and online training resources for the small business community that realizes that the internet is where their business needs to be.
Business Development: negotiations, partner strategy, complex sales and strategic planning
Marketing: management of numerous lead generation campaigns incorporating email, web and direct marketing. helped develop social media strategies and completed testing and optimization certifications through MarketingExperiments.com.
