Very nice location ,safe, clean hostel, and helpful staff. Breakfast including muffin, corn flakes& granola, yoghurt apple, milk &juice(always the same during my four-day stay). Coffee and tea served all day, lovely large kitchen fridge space. Room is big, every bedside has its own light and charge outlet. However, 3 things to complain: 1.poor quality matters, too soft, hurts my back; 2. 4 out of 6 dryers reserved for staff, making it always a long line; 3. Free wifi, but for desktop in the hostel, need to PAY TO USE . Overall, it's a nice hostel.

Clean. Well managed. Good kitchen. Clean shower rooms. As long as a hostel can cover those basics I'm pretty happy. HI offered a couple of nice hang out places and the 6 bed dorm I was in was spacious and quite. I'd stay there again, no problems.

Like most reviews in here the hostel is fine the location is great the facilities are awesome except the fact that the staffs are rude. oh ask about the $5 over-night parking around there absolutely awesome deal consider the location.

It cost roughly $30 a night but well worth the price, safe, convenient side of town. You can easily get to Venice Bch. and LAX from here. They have dining hall, computers at cost and lots of tourism info plus some events

Best Hostel I've ever stayed in! Location and price were fantastic, everything was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 6 person one night and an 8 person on another. I would stay here again as i think it is a far and away better value than any hotel in the area, though I think I would stick with the 6 person just because the 8 was pretty crowded with everyone's stuff on the floor.

Me and my fiance found this hostel much due to the location. Breakfast consisted of white toast bread, Orange juice/milk/coffee/tea, cornflakes, and was served until 9.30am. Not a great breakfast if you're on a low carb diet, but complimentary. We booked 5 nights in total, had to relocate almost every night due to low availability. The first night we had a private room and paid $93, the room was freezing cold and the bed broke down. Luckily it was some loose parts that we could temporarily fix to get our sleep that night, but because we didn't rush out in the middle of the night to notify staff, we had no compensation whatsoever. This only realized after us chasing a manager for 3 days that laughed us in the face at wanting to keep us as customers. Besides that, the hostel did host facilities for laundry, cinema, smoking yard, pool tables, library, computers, WiFi. The facilities did smell of weed many times although drugs including alcohol we're not allowed. Showers are shared and water is known to vary between warm and cold. On Valentine's day my fiance showered in freezing cold water. The staff we're mostly fluent in Spanish but not efficient and didn't care about enhancing visitor experience which is the main reason my impression is so poor. Kitchen facilities are excellent, so if staying for a longer time and valuing location high this hostel could still be an alternative.

Great place, close to everything a tourist could need including public transport and a massive parking lot across the street
