Would you get behind a new games console from Google, or are you already too invested in existing platforms?

My Chromebook Pixel 2015 (LS i7 16GB RAM) battery has failed and I've just got a brand new sealed replacement from Google. I really want to tear it open and get going again as a love that machine. However, I am tempted to switch to the Pixelbook as it could also replace my ageing Pixel C. Trouble is the equivalent spec Pixelbook is £1700 (£1495 with my discount).

If I were to sell my brand new Chromebook Pixel LS, would anyone be interested, and for how much?

The Pixel LS is still great and in fact still has advantages over the Pixelbook such as better speakers, better display, better port selection, longer battery life (when new), is much cheaper and it has a light-bar & slimmer bezels.

My Chromebook Pixel 2015 (LS) battery has started to fail on me but after lots of back and fourth it seems Google have agreed to replace it for me. Once I have a working one again, I am tempted to sell and upgrade to the Pixelbook. The convertible aspect has particular appeal.

Two questions I have then are:

1. For people who have owned both, would you recommend sticking with the Pixel LS or selling the replacement and getting a Pixelbook?

2. If I did sell the replacement Chromebook Pixel LS, would anyone be interested in getting their hands on one which is unused and if so, how much would you consider paying for one?
