I spent much of the weekend using #Audacity
to rip a bunch of classic vinyl #records
into electronic files, so I have them. You can hear something I did if you go to the link below.
After about 48 hours of heavy Audacity use and frequent trips to the manual (which is very well done, and a stellar example of community-driven open source manual maintenance), I've leveled up a whole lot in my knowledge and understanding of the software, and I like it so much, I think I'm going to give it a try for podcast recording and editing. So here is my inevitable question that the Googles -- actually, now the #duckduckgo s -- haven't been able to help me answer:
Is there an easy and reliable way to embed podcast artwork in mp3 files on the Mac? Garageband doesn't do it unless you use their AAC format, and I can't imagine that there isn't some other way to do it ... I just can't find the answer.
If we can figure this out together, I'll probably do a #RadioFreeBurrito
in the very near future.
