I just ate dinner here with my family. The food was all delicious, but our service by a waitress named Elizabeth was TERRIBLE (as in makes-me-think-about-never-returning terrible). After waiting about 15 minutes for her to even take our drink orders (and the place was not very busy), we finally decided on the beer flights which were wonderful. However, we found ourselves waiting for forever anytime that we needed her. And honestly, we could have originally overlooked the slow service. As I said above, all of the food is top-notch, really delicious and gourmet. However, my problem arose when I was unhappy with my food (the shrimp - not at all what I expected, which is what I let Elizabeth know.... If I would have known that it was 2 pieces of shrimp, I would have ordered differently!).... instead of trying to resolve the situation, she told me that she would look into it and "be right back"... she never came back until 10 minutes later I flagged down a different waitress. When she finally did come back, it was with a very nasty and rude attitude. Even when she brought over the 'manager" (no real manager on duty, only the chef), she stood right there as I tried to explain to him, only to respond back to him that I was over-reacting..... not the best way to treat a customer! I only think it is a shame because the food is wonderful, however my experience was ruined by this waitress, Elizabeth, who was very nasty. You would think that most restaurants would value their customer service skills, especially because in a similar situation, good customer service could turn it all around into an excellent experience! However, her rude attitude made mine a bad experience, and makes me question returning to this establishment,. It is too bad that management was not around to enforce good customer service.
