Happy Anniversary Kris!
It has been one year year since Kris became your Grassroots Radio Colorado host.
Kris recalls a few moments that stand out in her mind from the past year.
Some audio shared from the December 23rd Grassroots Radio Colorado program. Its a message worth hearing.
The RNC is trying to force a 'Victory 2015' plan upon the Colorado GOP.
It seems like a rather statist like move from the RNC.
Is America facing a public pension crisis?
Lawrence McQuillan, a Senior Fellow at the Independent Institute and author of "California Dreaming" joins Kris to expose how sky rocketing costs of public employee retirement benefits have created a massive unfunded liability crisis across America that has ballooned to a staggering $4.7 trillion, threatening our critical public services.
Joining Kris next is Robin Wise, the President and CEO of Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc.
Robin informs us about the JA program 'Business Week', which begins THIS Sunday with only a few remaining openings.
Beyond the 'Business Week' program, Robin gives us the big picture of Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc.

Kris Cook is your host.
Kris Cook is a Colorado based liberty activist.

Were you one of the suckers that thought anything significant changed with the expiration of some portions of the Patriot Act?

Suckers...
We have the same Gov today as we had yesterday and the day before.

What changed was Rand Paul's political capital.  He's building a coalition with certain elements of the Left.  If he can get the nomination (doubtful), he'll have a significant number of 'crats and independents voting for him in the General.

A good strategy, I think, but it's not going to help him in the Primaries unless he's counting on lots of crossover votes in the states that permit that.

My home town made this list.
Though honestly, not where I would wish to retire.
Most definitely the state in which I would like to retire (as if I'll ever be able to retire...), just not the area of the state.

'Great Falls, Montana
PROS: Strong economy and low unemployment on the banks of the Missouri River. Cost of living 2% below national average, average home $172,000, good tax climate. Above average air quality. High number of doctors per capita, high Milken aging rank, low serious crime rate.
CON: Cold winters.
NOTED: Average walkability. Population 60,000. Newcomer to list.
TRIVIA: Name comes from five Missouri River waterfalls in close proximity.'
Forbes chooses 25 venues with wide range of geography and climates.

I miss it very much.
Whatever I lost, I lost it when I left.

Regardless of how much I miss it, I only wish to visit, and never live there again.
