Love this place. It's like having a personal trainer. I've been in gyms and worked out on my own. This place showed me I was still out of shape. I'm addicted!! Love boot camp

I started crossfitting 2 years ago and it has transformed my life and body. I will be 50 in another year and can't wait to see what new and awesome things I will be able to do at the gym and in life...like surfing. Thank you Crossroads Bootcamp for introducing me to a new way of thinking about fitness!

Crossroads Bootcamp is fantastic! I have been going there for about 2 months now and I am addicted. It's a challenging cross-fit workout like nothing I have ever experienced. I am already seeing changes and a reduction in my body fat. If you want a high energy fun program to burn body fat, tone and shape muscle and build a better you.... Give Crosstoads Bootcamp a try! You will be happy you did!

I saw a groupon about CRBC about a year ago and since it was close to work I thought I’d give it a try. I knew nothing about the place but after breaking-up with my girlfriend, I knew I wanted a change in my life. Thankfully CRBC delivered! They offer two main classes’ bootcamp and Crossfit. I started with bootcamp. It was tough but I liked it because it engaged every muscle in my body. Running, lifting and jumping are all incorporated into bootcamp and the Instructor (Dana) is phenomenal. He’s a great guy, very knowledgeable and high energy. Every time I went, his workouts were different. Bootcamp is tough, intense and produces fast results. It’s like a 30 minute pickup basketball game with weights. I was totally exhausted after the 1st workout and every muscle in my body was sore. It was exactly what I was looking for. Crossfit, on the other hand, is unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. I’d never heard of it but later learned it’s gone worldwide and the Crossfit games are shown on ESPN. But starting out, not knowing what I was doing, was not easy. The workouts are short , extremely intense and insanely challenging. After my 1st workout, I hated it and was done with Crossfit. I was good with just doing bootcamp. But a week later, I tried it again. I hated it again, BUT I loved the feeling of walking out of their covered in sweat and the feeling of accomplishment . After gutting out a few more workouts, I developed a love-hate relationship with Crossfit. Eventually, I began getting stronger, my excess blubber was dissolving and I was feeling like an athlete again. Now I know, Crossfit is all about building athletes. You’ll never see the gold gym guys with big arms and skinny legs there, because they couldn’t survive these workouts. As far as the instructors, I can say that I’ve belonged to most of the big clubs in KC and worked out in gyms and health clubs all over the country. But, I’ve never been to one where the instructors care more about the success of their athletes. Their focus is about making us better. You may not experience it in your first few workouts but those of us who have been around awhile, definitely do. And they’re constantly taking classes and studying to learn better and more efficient ways to teach the exercises. I’ve taken classes from Scott, Brian, Mitch, Merriam, John and Stephanie and each is an excellent leader and instructor. Oh yeah, there’s usually more girls than guys and they (the girls) are ALL amazing. How could they not be when they have the heart to keep going back for more. Bottom line is this place is not for everybody. If you’re a 24 hr fitness troll, who likes their treadmill and curls, this is not for you. If you like standing around watching other people workout, this is not for you (i.e. those that give it 1 star). It takes guts to complete these workouts and keep coming back for more. I respect the hell out of people that come try AND keep coming back, cuz they’ve got character and heart. Just like everything else in life, quitting is easy, but real change takes courage. If you got it, CRBC will deliver.

As a 30 yr old male, I have done the traditional bench-press, cardio, weight room routine since high school. BORING!!! Although their are many reasons to recommend Crossroads Bootcamp (great instructors, fun environment, lots of classes, etc) one major reason I value my membership there is because it is VERY time/benefit effective. Meaning, I attend 3-4 classes for approx. 55 min/class (includes warmup and cooldown) a week and I am done. At the end of the week I know that I got in 4 structured and fantastic workouts in without dragging my butt from machine to machine at 24 Hr Fitness, guessing which workouts I should be doing, surrounded by a staff that looks like they just graduated high school yesterday. Check out their website which features videos of some of the typical exercises at Crossroads BC. Crossroads BC is locally owned and operated and delivers fun workouts if you are willing to put in the time. What else can you ask for?

I am a 36 year old mother of two kids ages 6 and 3. I work out to stay in shape and because I want to live a long time. I've had a membership at the Y, personal trainers, taken Pilates, and been a runner. Crossroads Bootcamp is by far my favorite! I need to get the most results I can in an hour, and this is the place! Yes, the classes are tough. But anyone can do it if you start at your own pace and build up! I am in the best shape of my life because of CB. Tough but fun, great camaraderie between everyone in the classes. Try it!
