2016 is on its last days, and the 2017 models are rolling out nationwide to car dealerships. BMW is so ready for 2017, in fact, that it is already making announcements about the 2018 model year.

Sales is great service is terrible!!! Rather drive to Santa Barbara before getting my car serviced here. Had my X5 there before and just bought a new 4 Series didn't fix the problem nor feel like I was a priority.

Love this place! Great service and great people who run it! Every sales guy, manager, service writer, and so on that I've talked to has been GENUINELY friendly and really cares about what they do and doing the right thing. Thanks for everything you've done for me BMW of Santa Maria! You guys go above and beyond! You are possibly the best dealership in the US by far!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in November of 2015. It was known at the time of sale that the air conditioning was not properly functioning, and the part needed to fix it would be arriving in two days. I returned the vehicle to have the part installed; this did not fix the problem. They held the vehicle for over almost two weeks attempting to fix this issue. Thankfully they gave me a "loner" vehicle. During this time period I never received status updates regarding my vehicle and never received phone calls back when I requested an update. When my vehicle was finally "fixed", I was called and told I could pick up my car. They lied, the air conditioning was not properly fixed. When I called to tell them it was not fixed they told me I could drop it off but this time no loner car would be available because they don't offer that. I told them that the had previously issued me a loner vehicle and they responded with "we will look into this and call you back"; I never received a call back. I am now in the process of obtaining legal council due to breach of contract. DO NOT do business with this company. They are unethical and do not follow through on their obligations.

Beware! Had them mess up vital work on my 2007 335i, 3 times in a row! Terrible terrible work. Don't get me wrong Abe the service advisor has been wonderful to me, but the work performed is not up to standard. I was even told a "MASTER MECHANIC" worked on my vehicle. This really scares me knowing that a master mechanic would do such an awful job. Took the car in for a valve cover job under warranty, not only was the job done wrong the first time, but they ended up replacing it again because they didn't clean any of the spark plug sockets and it fouled my spark plugs. The final mistake was made while doing repairs to the oil pan, the subframe bolts were left hand loose. Not only is that life threatening ordeal, but not ok at all for a third mistake. I have much respect for some of these guys as I've been going to the dealership for 2 years now without problems. I was attempting to get in contact with the manager of the dealership to try and figure things, because of the ridiculous mistake made. I was told we were going to have a meeting to discuss this like adults, but apparently the manager had different plans. Not only was a decision made without even consulting me, but I felt very much disrespected that he would not talk to me face to face. I will not be going back here and I will be filing a complaint with BMW of NA to attempt to remedy this problem from occurring to someone else, before any gets into an accident because of this. For a BMW dealership I am not impressed at all with this kind of work.

Sheldon and Ali are the BEST! I'm not easy to deal with but they are always very patient with all my drama. I got the car of my dreams and I never thought it would happen. But they did it! Now I'm a proud owner of a Z4M! On top of the sales dept. the service dept. is just as good! Thanks every one at BMW of Santa Maria for making dreams come true!

I was actually just ranting about a completely different dealership and how horrible it was and then I compared it to the amazing people at Santa Maria, it has been a while but i remember it like it was yesterday. Driving up to SF from LA when this light turns on a light that has been mysteriously popping up and when you turn of the car it disappears never to be found again. I showed up to Santa Maria and well they treated me like a person and boy was that fantastic compared to the arrogant people that i sometimes deal with at an unmentioned audi dealership. The guys at Santa Maria took me in immediately helped me out, and sent me on my way. I really could not ask for more. They were amazing and super helpful! I do not know how to praise your awesome efforts anymore than randomly bringing up in a conversation a dealership that is over 100 miles away from me and saying, this is what you guys need to be like!!!! Thanks again!

The service dept. is wonderful, I am always treated like a Queen - Abe and the team are so professional, understanding, helpful and always right on time. They deserve a 6th star. In addition Mike Keene is truly the best salesperson in the world, he wants to please and always does a fabulous job.
