Why is it such hard work to maintain business reviews. While it is important and we encourage customers to do reviews it seems ridiculous that a customer (or so called prospective customer in our case) can post a one star review based on a quotation. The contents of the review would suggest that there was an ulterior motive behind the review. When and if the reviewer mentions a competitor and then suggests they got a much cheaper quotation can only lead to point in one direction. Failing to respond can only mean they thing they may have gotten away with it. However the important point is that a review of this nature tends to stand out as a red herring when compared to present customer service reviews.

Strange the way people don't need to think about a locksmith and most would say that they could not even say what they do other that the obvious. There is one think for sure and that is locksmiths are on the increase be it licensed or not. Almost anyone can change a lock but opening a lock can be somewhat more difficult when you don't know what you are doing. We have seen many times where a door will be forced open or many holes drilled into a door simply because the person trying to open it does not know what they are doing. A professional locksmith that has being trained will always be able to open a door without having to cause any damage at all.

In recent weeks there has being information shared by the Garda as follows.
"Petrol/service stations have been burgled for cigarettes and cash. A number of jewelers were also broken into. Expanding foam was used in a number of incidents to silence outdoor alarms. Phone lines have also been cut with GSM blockers also suspected to be used to interfere with alarm signals. CCTV systems have been damaged or stolen in some instances.

Entry in the majority of the burglaries was gained through the roof using cutting tools. Once access is gained to the shop floor the raiders will spend a considerable amount of time (up to 4 hours) gathering cigarettes and cash.

In some cases, the raiders crawl along the floor to avoid PIR sensors. In some instances, when an alarm is triggered the raiders will lie low pending the arrival of the Gardaí and shop owner. As the damage caused to the roof is not visible at night they will re-enter the store once the Gardaí have left to complete the burglary.

Alarm companies are requested to be aware and inform local Gardaí if they observe similar methods being used."

It is advised to keep a close eye on your business.
for any information contact your local Gardaí station.

Just when we thought the snow had left us it came back with a bang. Thankfully it just missed Paddy's day. Locksmiths Dublin are finding it difficult to get around. Allot of housing estates are worst effected with the main roads clear. However the snow is not stopping customers locking keys inside or breaking/ loosing there car keys.

Our locksmith Dublin has noticed a big increase on keys being locked in cars over the last couple of weeks. as we all know it is a simple enough mistake to make. For us it is a simple process (well most cars) to open the car. The most expensive is loosing the keys and having to get them replaced. Again allot of that this time of the year. We are here to help with either issue that may accor.
Should you find yourself with the issue call us free on 1800474747.
