Looks like the food scene there is a bit hotter than sleepy old Santa Barbara.

Everyone knows Comcast are monopolists that have no incentive to compete on service as most people don't have any choice for broadband in their area, but the listings are wrong too. They close at 6pm not 7pm. When I arrived a 6:02pm after having biked 5 miles to return my modem the agents at the desks just stared blankly and shook their heads. This is the culmination of having spent 15 hours on customer service chat with incompetence L1 and L2 support, 8 hours staying home from work waiting for a technician who was 2 hours after the 4-hour window he was scheduled in, and finally having to personally bike 5 miles to get a loaner modem from the service center because the tech didn't have one. So I arrive two minutes late and that fat jerks don't even have the courtesy to come speak to my face why they can't take back the modem that I have to go out of my way to return because of their incompetent service. I realize there is no human decency left in any corporate customer support anywhere, but a guy can dream right?
