Wow- I never thought I'd find a diner with healthy, local, and organic options! This place was terrific. Great service and great food. I was glad to see very helpful labeling (vegan, gluten-free, etc.) and lots of choices for any diet.

This is an amazing restaurant. We first discovered the Rockville location. Our waiter suggested Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, I had never had them before and hate the smell. Well these were delicious and now I'm obsessed!

We visit from time to time and every single time we are served with warm smiles, excellent service and excellent food that tastes great. We were just there on Saturday morning and it's Monday....guess where we are headed. Yep....back for more great food! Clay & Mary in Alexandria

I have to give it 2 stars just for how expensive it is for breakfast. Food is pretty good, but the prices are ridiculous.

Food did not arrive for over 30 minutes. Waitress was rude and did not get all of our order correct. We had to ask for refills and they did not all come. the waitress was confused by all of our requests

I'm rather hard to please. I supposed you could say I'm one of those picky snobby, health oriented people. At least that's what I was called in high-school.. Anyway, because I am such, I was pleasantly surprised that despite being a 50's themes diner, this place had healthy nutritional food, I mean who was nutrition oriented in the 50's right? My husband and I went here for a weekend to try something new. I ordered a fully organic and nutritional meal with extra turkey bacon and strawberries and my hubby ordered a burger with a side of cheese fries. My food was tasty which pleased me because I have such a hard time finding a cook who can cook food without dousing them in oil and other unhealthy ingredients, and you specially don't expect that kind of cook to be in a diner. And I don't want my husband to know, but while he went to the men's room, I took a bite of his fries... I don't know if it is because I usually forbid myself from eating that kind of food or what, but those fries were perfection. People don't seem to like the theme of the restaurant coupled with healthy food, but why not? The restaurant can be 50's themed, doesn't mean we have to eat like them... the death rate was considerably higher and I'm sure the eating habits had something to do with that.

I did not like it. I mean honestly, I couldn't get an answer to the question I kept asking myself. Who the hell was this health oriented in the 50's? I mean I wasn't around back then but that, I'm pretty sure there were fat cheeseburgers in every corner, not vegan stuff. It's contradictory to the whole hip 50's theme they seemed to be going for. I will say however that if you are a vegan and love the 50's or feeling like you are in a 50's diner this is the place for you... Just don't even drag me back here. The service was good though so I can't give them one star.

Great Silver Diner with great staff. If you haven't tried the quinoa pancakes get on it!
