Assumption College has announced that Richard DesLauriers '82, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Boston Field Division, will be this year's Commencement speaker. DesLauriers is currently running the Joint Terrorism Task Force Investigation into the Boston Marathon attacks and was recently featured in TIME magainze.

Assumption College's School Counseling Program Director, Dr. Mary Ann Mariani, has forwarded information provided by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) for Helping Children Cope with Terrorism.

Assumption College will be closed Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1 in observance of the Easter Holiday. Offices will re-open on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

Registration Information for the Summer Semester:

MBA: Summer I only: 4/2/13-5/20/13, Summer I & II: 4/2/13-5/20/13 (must register for both Summer I and Summer II together to waive the $20 registration fee for Summer II) and Summer II only: 6/3/13-6/28/13. Rehabilitation Counseling: April 1-30. Course offerings will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

Special Education: There will be a Summer Advising & Registration meeting on Tuesday, April 23 in Kennedy 108 from 3:30-4:30. Any students unable to attend can register April 24-26 & April 29-30 in Kennedy 170 from 9:30-12:00 and 1:30-4:30. Course offerings will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

Counseling Psychology: April 24-30. Course offerings will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

School Counseling: April 22-25. Part time students can register by phone and full time students must register in person. Course offerings will be posted as soon as they are finalized.
