I love the gifts at Uncommon Goods they are refreshingly unique!
Starting to think about the holidays, but wondering where you can find unique gifts?

Our featured artists create many beautiful pieces—ranging from yarn bowls and Stoneware Nesting Bowls to
Baby Fortune Cookie Booties and hand blown glass vases. There is a huge variety of handmade options to choose from.

If you are thinking of something more simple, but still want your gift to have a personal touch, consider our State Dish Towels, Baseball Bat Bottle Openers (they are made from authentic game-day bats swung by Major Leaguers), or our cheery Gummy Bear Lights. These are just a few examples from our stocking stuffer collection. Go ahead and take a look. It can’t hurt to get a head start!

We are in Asheville, NC, today we went on a rockhounding adventure into the National Forest in search of kyanite crystals. It was an incredibly steep hike up to the spot but we did find several nice specimens.

Well, Memorial Day weekend came and went and here at 10,640' above sea level the leaves still aren't out on the trees around here, however thanks to the warmer temps the sap is running in the pines and the Colorado forest is delightfully fragrant.

It snowed pretty good this past holiday weekend, but it's OK because the snow is no match for Mr. Sun and Frosty is melting fast. Oh yes, the hummingbirds are returning to the high country soon so it's time to break out those feeders and help the little guys out till the flowers bloom. It's a late year thanks to the higher than usual snow pack this past season.
