I got that you didn't like that color combination - but not sure why so intensely, don't look bad for me. Actually based on your reaction I started to move to simpler colors - if it annoys at least somebody, why not - but didn't get to this one yet.
Performance testing is a separate activity as it requires some special efforts, skills, and tools. Testing is by definition pro-active, so it is opposite to "firefighting in production" (although my help there too).
I would expect that it should be an integral part of DevOps - but not quite see it happening at the moment (as I am telling in this presentation).
Intelligent agents as you describe are a great idea and I'd be happy to discuss them when I see them in the real life (they need to be tested too, etc.) - but don't see anything like this so far (well, at least in areas where I am working).
