Ugh! Awful experience here. Thought I'd do curbside to go to save time, but ended up waiting over an hour for my food because no one inside bothered to communicate. Then it turned out the food had been sitting on the counter the entire time, and they didn't even offer to make it fresh!!!!!! Worst, not coming back here, and advise the same to anyone looking for a quick to go order.

You come to The Cheesecake Factory for one thing. The cheesecake. It isn't the world's best but it is consistently good. You don't, or at least shouldn't, go to The Cheesecake Factory to check out the rest of the 45-page menu. It's like reading a choose-your-own-adventure book with no climax or happy ending since it always seems to conclude with indigestion.

Frankly, I don't get it. The quality is decent, but not noteworthy, while the quantities are staggering. The two visits to this location would've been improved with fresher, rather than more ingredients. As to the facility, less would indeed be more...and turn the volume knob to the left a bit, please?

Drove 40 minutes to come use a gift card. Haven't been to Cheesecake Factory in about 2 years but I loved it back then. We ordered eggs benedict and a 2 egg brunch that had 2 bacon and 2 pancakes. When the meal came the pancakes were missing. We found the waiter and pancakes were brought out. Then we cut into the eggs benedict and they were solidly cooked like a hard boiled egg. Waitress came over and agreed it wasn't right so she took them back. By the time the corrected order came out, the other food was nearly gone. Cut into the eggs, and they were nearly solid in the middle, definitely no runny yolk like a poached egg should be. At this point everyone else has finished so there is no point in trying to get the meal. A manager came over a few minutes later and said he would take the meal off the check. We sat not eating (everyone done eating) for 10 minutes before the waitress came back to ask if we wanted dessert.... I'm sorry that I drove this far and that someone gave me a gift card here :( and I'm sorry that something has changed since I used to love this restaurant. :(

The manager and I am sorry that I have misplaced his name turn a bad start to a great dinning experience. The food is super with good size portions for a fair market price. I will return for the food but more important I will return for the way management acted in a tough situation. We had a large group including young ones from out of town and the manager was able to find away to let us all dine as a group. Its nice to see when someone is willing to go outside the lines to earn your business. I look forward to dining their again in the near future. Folks the Cheesecake Factory located in the FairOaks Mall is a FIVE STAR PLACE TO GO!!!!!! LOVED IT.

Another Cheese Cake Factory within a week, can you tell I’m becoming addicted? Well this one was a lucky one since I did not know there was one in Fairfax, a town only a few minutes from where we are in Herndon. We were going shopping at the big Mall in Fairfax, when we decided to have a small meal at the Cheese Cake Factory on the ground level of the Mall. This one was much more impressive and bigger than the one in Baltimore. It looked like one of those high priced restaurants in New York. The interior was warm, clean and chic. It was early in the evening (5:00 pm) so it was not busy, save for a few people sitting outside. It was a beautiful day too with little moisture in the air, making the outside sitting the preferred sitting for all that arrived at that time. We did exactly what we did in Baltimore; ordered soup, salad and one appetizer. We did not want to get too filled up to not have our cheese cake. Mark and I ordered the soup of the day, which happened to be a delicious French mushroom soup, while Desire went for the Greek salad. To this we added 1 appetizer, a plate of mussel. The cheese cake orders changed as well; I ordered the lemon-raspberry cheese cake instead of the ultimate red velvet cake. Mark changed to the Chocolate cheese cake, while Desire had the Pinacolada instead of the mango-key lime. The portions are big. The welcome and wait staff were pleasant and polite. The lady that served us was one of the most pleasant service people I have encountered in any restaurant in the last 4 years. She knew what she was doing. She was courteous, polite and friendly; she had a conversation with us but knew not to over step her bounds, checked in with us to make sure all was going well, and wished us a great evening after our meal was done. I really did not see or experience anything negative while at the restaurant. PS: “If it looks good, eat it” – Andrew Zimmerman.
