I found out about this company yesterday at  Hallie B. Rockwall and am hooked. Check out their website. The story behind the shoes is amazing as are the women who make them. (And the shoes are pretty cute and comfy too!)

Kirchhoff Menu & Activities: Week of January 26, 2014
It's been busy around here. Not really sure why either. Well, I know why. Sickness cycled through the house. Lucy, the dog, had a surgery. Grant went out of town. Presley had her birthday. But it seems like we have a reprieve this week, and I purposely did ...

We're going to take it easy this week as we get back into the groove of school and such. Personally, I'm upping my game as I study for the NCCE in February: It's much harder to do this kind of stuff a year+ after graduating! I'm also giving the Jorge Cruise...

When it comes to my sensitive, unpredictable skin, I'm picky about who and what I let touch it. The estheticians at About Face are now part of my skin's inner circle. These girls KNOW what they're doing and take skin treatments seriously. When I was 9 months pregnant, I went in for Vibraderm. (I had read a blog through their website that convince me to go outside my comfort zone and try this.) If you've ever been pregnant, you know the toll it takes on your skin. In my case, my skin was super red, congested with black heads (gross, I know), dry and patchy in a few places, and ranged from dry to oily throughout the day. I couldn't get a handle on it. Anyway, when I walked into the treatment room, Theresa took one look at me and said, "We're going to do an oxygen facial." I shyly mentioned that I was here for Vibraderm, but she explained to me that because of the sensitive nature of my current skin condition, my plan wasn't the best option. Instead, my skin needed some healing and balance. Hence, an oxygen facial. I like facials, so I just went with it. (The oxygen facial was cheaper anyway, so I figured I could buy a new shirt or something with the $$ leftover. The hubs would never know.) Theresa was so right. My face felt calmer, and my congested pores were smaller after the treatment. Had I had the Vibraderm, I would have come out redder and more irritated then when I went in. I was also able to pick up a few products that maintained my results for several weeks. She totally gained my trust and loyalty right then and there. I purchased a package of laser hair removal treatments and look forward to starting those sometime next month. (Will update review after I'm all done.) And my mom will be getting a couple of overdue photofacials for the first time through them. Can't wait to see her results! About Face has become a family affair. Love them!
