I'm not vegan but I must say I found this place always very yummy and fun to go too. Friendly staff with lots of great drinks too! Great local hangout if your looking for someplace new.

Two stars because every time I come here the service is good and the food is terrible. Last night was the last time I will go there. I had the kimchi and sausage torta and it was really salty and bland, my GF had the cup of chili and it was just water and vegetables. If you just go for your beer / coffee / tea fix I would rate it higher.

While the wait can sometimes become an issue, if you are outside of general "rush" times there is never an issue walking in and being seated. Another great option is the bar area does not require a wait, I often find open seats to reduce any wait. The atmosphere is great, very hipster-cool vibe going on without being annoying. Dim, trendy lighting in the evenings. The food is wonderful and pairs well with their beer selection. My favorite offering, however, is the fresh kombucha on tap! They rotate the flavors to keep it interesting. The Seitan Wings are a MUST, you can get the half and half (half buffalo, half bbq)sauces which I highly reccomend. Definitely a place to check out when you're in town or looking for a bite to eat in the Capital Hill area.

Delicious food! Busy during lunch but service was friendly and reasonably quick. El Jefe without tofu or egg was fantastic. Bill was a little bit higher than expected, otherwise no complaints.

They are used to dealing with food allergies and make great gluten free cookies. Service is usually good to great. It is a vegetarian place, i can't remember if there is even meat on the menu. If there is, it is not much.

Good eats, but I had a horrible server today. I waited 20 minutes for 1 beer that was delivered by a server other than mine; the same server who brought my food out 2 minutes later. My server walked by several times during my meal and never asked if I needed anything, how it tasted, if I wanted another beer, etc. My plate sat empty on the table for 20 minutes after I finished my meal and my server still did not say a word; despite walking by multiple times. I finally had to ask for my bill; which was dropped off in full stride without saying anything else. This was my first experience and I might come back because it seems as if the other servers, in particular the black woman who brought my beer and food, are attentive and happy to he here. I will make sure; however, to ask that I not be seated in Liz's section.

Honestly, one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Let alone the fact that I am vegan, this place impressed. The coffee bar was so rustic in appearance and the baristas behind the counter not only knew what they were doing, but were very friendly. Shout-out to Sean (Shawn? Spelling wasn't given) behind the coffee bar. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We ended up stopping for dinner last night and then went back for breakfast this morning! We were visiting from Laramie, WY and just being in this restaurant both times gave us amazing vibes from the Denver scene. The waitstaff was kind, caring, and knowledgeable about their products. The food itself was some of the best vegan cuisine that I have had. The seitan wings are to die for. The BBQ tofu platter as well as the Tempeh Bacon scramble (with tofu) blew me out of the water. To say the least, we will be visiting this restaurant every time that we meander down to Denver until we move there, in which case we will be regulars. Give this place a try! You will be IMPRESSED!
