Unfortunately, Google will only let me give a 5-star review. The SCC is by far one of my favorite eateries in Bozeman, for many reasons. The staff (and owners) are extremely friendly and welcoming. I have eaten there countless times and have most likely tried almost every item on their menu and have literally NEVER been disappointed, both by the food and the service. The owners are very quick to notice their "regulars" and always make it a point to stop by your table and at least say a quick "hi, how's yer food, how ya doin'?" Some of the best breakfasts and burgers in the Valley. Words cannot describe how happy your move to Bozeman made me. A big THANK YOU for being so awesome!! Keep up the amazing work you guys!

This is a greasy spoon. As soon as I entered the place the smell of uncleaned friers hit me hard, and stuck with me through the whole meal. Everything seemed to have the feel from the tablecloths to the silverware of being exposed to too much frier grease without a proper clean, or maybe it is all too far gone to ever be fully cleaned. That said the food was greasy but tasty. The portions are massive and the bill reasonable. Wait service was friendly and functional. For the right person this would be near the top of the list for Bozeman eateries. Unfortunately, I'm not that person.

The Storm Castle Cafe is not a greasy spoon, we smell delicious, we don't have table cloths on any of our tables, our silverware is clean, and our frier is drained and filtered everyday. I'm not even sure your review is about my Cafe. We work very hard and pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our Cafe, front and back of the house.

I have to know, is this the same Storm Castle Cafe that used to be located on 191 on the way to Big Sky? If so, I have had dreams about their breakfast food and cannot wait to get in there! Best food in the area, right up there with Cat Eye! If anyone knows if this is related to the old storm castle cafe, please shout. Thanks

Charles, yes we leased the Castle Rock Cafe for 2 years and have been at 5 Tai Lane, Bozeman as Storm Castle Cafe since April 2010. Hope to see you soon! We've been in your dreams (:

I work by Storm Castle and we have called and gotten take out numerous times for staff. After telling my husband, sister, and brother in law how good it was we called to order take out today and were told they had too many people waiting for food that were there, so we could not place an order. Upsetting as we are moving, have young children and needed take out, and I feel that if we are paying customers why does it matter for us to come in and sit for an hour or come in and take it to go? Customer service ranks higher to me than food portion etc and that is why the low rating.

Heather, customer service is very important to us at the Storm Castle Cafe, this is why we can't service to go orders when we have a full restaurant with anywhere from a 15-45 minute wait. If we could possibly provide the customers inside the restaurant walls with the service we strive for as well as to-go orders, trust me, we would. You ask, " if we are paying customers why does it matter for us to come in and sit for an hour or come in and take it to go?" My answer, we quote our customers a waiting time depending on several things: how big their party is, when the people sat down before them, how many people are in front of them waiting, not to mention, guessing how long people will enjoy sitting and chatting at their table when they are done eating. This quote or estimate is made and customers expect that we be as accurate as possible, but if while they are waiting for a table, we begin putting to-go orders in, our estimated waiting time becomes incorrect. The quality of our food and customer service is top priority for us at the Storm Castle Cafe, if it means that we must sacrifice the sales from to-go orders on a busy day to maintain that quality, then we will.

Great food, more than you can eat. Had breakfast buttito, was fantastic. Yes, this used to be on 191 by Storm Castle mountain, now it's not. Happy place for breakfast. Love it!

The only place in town that doesn't do substitutions. Also the only place in town that I really despise coming to for the same reason. Are they so full of themselves that the menu just can't be altered? Main reason I come here is that it is close to home, but I often regret it, after lukewarm service and dcent food.

I have had both breakfast and luch at the Storm Castle Cafe and enjoyed both. Huge portions!! I am not complaining though. Just Southwest of North and South Hedges dorms at the Montana State Univ. campus.
