For the first time, we were actually DENIED service because we brought our 9mth old daughter. We came here after getting her ears pierced and needed a drink. They had a happy hour, so we thought that it would be a good time to check the place out. When we entered, were told that we could not get any happy hour menu items b/c we were not allowed to sit at the bar for "health code violations". Since there were approximately 4 customers in the restaurant, we thought we could sit in the booth across from the bar so that our daughter could sit in the high chair. When we politely asked to sit right across the bar with our daughter, we were told that they would not offer us the menu items and basically said that for happy hour, they are not a family friendly environment. We tried to speak to the manager to inquire as to why they had such stringent rules but was told there was no wiggle room. As a physician, I'm more than happy to tell my colleagues and all of my patients at the way we were treated and basically asked to leave during the happy hour time. Hopefully they can make their own judgement on where to eat in the future.
