I've been lucky enough to travel to some pretty special places around the world. Being a landscape photographer I love visiting "epic" locations to photograph. The Western Arthur Range, in the Southwest of Tasmania would be one such place. Whenever I feel the need to clear my mind, calm my soul, or just mentally recharge, I will drift my thoughts towards this place.
Having just returned from a 6 day hike into this region, I have some images I'd like to share with you. Here's the first one. Lake Oberon, just before sunset, with the long pyramid shadow of Sirius into the valley far below.
Thanks for a great trip Luke Tscharke, Dylan Toh and Tim Wrate.

An aerial view of Tasman Island, Tasmania. With the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere at 300m, this place is a must see if you come to visit.

Best of 2015? I couldn't possibly!
For the year of 2015 I took a total of 42 160 photos. In 2014 I took 88 540 photos (lots of time-lapses)
I'm not going to try and present my top 10 to you, but I might make a slideshow with LOTS of them mashed together.
Until that happens, here is a slideshow of all the panoramas I took from our house during 2015. (80 of them, and mostly sunsets)
All of these panoramas can be found on my website here. http://www.ffourie.com/Galleries/Panoramas/
If you see one you like, or would like to celebrate a special date with a pretty sunset panorama, then let me know! We can get one printed and framed for you.
Sit back, relax, put some earphones on, and watch the many moods of the mountain as seen from the Eastern Shore.
