Trump's new order
Trump tries to squirm away from another attack, or rather series of attacks. The focus of these attacks seems to be serious investigations into the Russian interference in the election. Trump is calling for an investigation of the Democrats, because they wi...´╗┐

Question on Quora: Is Trump functionally illiterate. I happen to believe he is, but one could have a learning disability and still be a good person. Trump is like the kings of old, who could not be punished when they did something bad. Instead, they had a whipping boy, who got beaten instead of the king. The kings were supposed to be ashamed that they caused pain to someone else. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it didn't.

Clearly, Trump has no shame.´╗┐

I corrected my statement about beef contributions to global warming. Because the US emits so much more Greenhouse gas than other countries, the contribution of animal production is smaller as a percentage of total emissions. For the world, however, animal production contributes 15% of greenhouse gases.

One commenter suggested this is a negligible amount and nothing to be concerned with. This is the chorus of climate deniers everywhere: It's no big deal, and besides, there's nothing we can do about it anyway.

But climate change is a very big deal and one of the easy things you can do about it is stop eating beef, or meat altogether. Worldwide, consumption of meat contributes more to global warming than transportation.´╗┐

How much does beef production contribute to global warming?
From Quora: I was surprised when I was attacked for saying that beef production contributes to global warming worldwide. The attacks came in the form of misinformation, primarily from a white paper by Frank Mitloehner, a professor at UC Davis. MitloehnerÔÇÖs ...´╗┐
