Funny how limited vocabulary translates to understatement.

Wow, so many questions I didn't even know I wanted to know the answer to!

Rebooted into Windows to upgrade my Logitech wireless receiver's firmware and decided to see if I was missing anything. Nope. I'm back to Linux and sighing in relief.

I love that we're now at the point where mice and keyboards need their own firmware upgrades!

It never fails; PackageKit comes up with a kernel or desktop update right AFTER I reboot my computer for some other reason.

Has this study been validated? Or debunked? If valid, all this discussion of income taxes is completely misdirected.

It seems like discussing marginal rates makes it more difficult to compare apples to apples than calculating an effective tax rate. However, it does reduce the weight of the argument that high marginal income tax rates discourage "extra" economic effort.

Thank the OSS Stars, someone picked up Amarok 1.4 and ported it to KDE 4.x! It's called Clementine. Go Get It NOW! Bye-bye Amarok2.

With all the Slayer and Metallica in my collection, it's been demonized for a while.

Sweet movie. I loved the peripheral scenery changes.

Just watched this mini movie. It's poetic and charming so wanted to share it --StreetView meets Toy Story. Incredibly heartwarming to see the magical way people around the world are inspired by Google products.

An article on how it was made:

The new sound set up in the office is very nice. Sounds great. Clean, crisp, rich, excellent Stereo, etc.

For the gear, I have a Kenwood KA-6100 Amp that my neighbor put out on the curb. It had an input selector switch that needed cleaning. It's powering a pair of Kenwood JL-980AV speakers I got off of craigslist for $25. Best $25 stereo ever!

+Justin Forbes, what do you think of this setup?

Past weekend, I listened to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Awkward_Annie via Amazon Cloud, into a very cheap Radio Shack amp from the 90's, through a pair of Bose 501 speakers I bought in the 80's. Sounded amazing.

For any Durham Peeps looking for a new bank after their bank announced starting to charge them fees, check out KeySourceBank.com. The web site and online banking is a little lame*, but the wetware is top notch. Real people, real local. Talk to humans instead of computer prompts.

* Ugly to look at but fully functional and easy enough to use.
