About the only good thing with this hotel was the bed & location. The bad? Jack-hammering on the concrete structure, rude employees, poor service, staff entering our room TWICE without asking. We booked this hotel because it was close to crescent street and it seemed close to St. Catherine (It wasn't cheap either, we paid over close to 250 for one night - it was supposed to be a romantic get away). We pulled into the parking, noticed a stop sign but no valet could be found, so I parked the car because we were anxious to stretch. Upon getting to the front desk, we informed them we couldn't find the valet and their bellman was YELLING at us for parking ourselves. The front desk clerk was no help either. The moment we got to our room we heard jack hammering so we couldn't even rest for a moment. I phoned the front desk and they didn't even appolgise for the work, I was informed it was going to be going on till 8pm that night...and starting at 10am (and it started at 9am the next morning). We then went out for dinner, returned to our suite where we tried to relax to the hammering jack. In bed, next thing we notice a hotel employee helping herself into our suite to offer up some chocolates? We were half naked! (this was the second time the employees came in - first was a woman checking our fridge) I asked do they even knock?? Never again - next time I'll spend the money on a brand name that CARES about their name. This hotel didn't seem to care what anyone thought.

Hotel itself was very good, good location and nice and spacious room. I would of really enjoyed my stay and strongly recommended the hotel if it wouldn't of been for the very uncomprehensive and unfriendly staff. For a hotel in this price range ( paid around 750 $ for three nights) I would of expected to be treated way better by the hotel staff. Very unfortunate because the hotel is on point but the staff ruined my stay. I will never go there again and I do not recommend staying there either. There are many hotels in Montreal and I would suggest you look for another one if you are willing to stay in the 4-5 stars hotels range.

Booked with expedia and got a beautiful room and huge bathroom. I had read the reviews and was nervous about the noise factor especially since my room was near the elevator. The management has taken care of soundproofing so it was very quiet during my stay. Loved the staff - very friendly and warm. Kudos especially to Olivier at the front desk who is sincerely interested in making the guest's stay enjoyable. Looking forward to returning.
