This library has a nice kids section, friendly librarians. It's easy to get books on interlibrary loan, with self service pickup and check out. Nice cafe takes downstairs, with Japanese iced green tea in the vending machine, in case you are with kiddo and you need to have a snack break.

All in all, this library is wonderful. While it is not the biggest library in the city, it has a small feel that keeps it a cozy, intimate place, while still being accessible. It's a wonderful place to while away a Sunday afternoon.

Really Great Love it, great staff, books, and I love having board games, and video games, I'm only a little sad you removed the kookoos nest. Overall great if you get hungry go to kookoos cafe in Brookline village it's great as well.

Beautiful library in the heart of Brookline. It's got a classic feel and tons of books, videos and other material. Hunneman Hall is a beautiful hall for piano recitals.
