All Brookline libraries will be closed today, Tuesday 1/27 due to the storm. Stay safe out there!

All Brookline Libraries will close at 5pm today, 1/26 and will remain closed until Wednesday, 1/28 due to the storm

The Trustees and the Friends of the Brookline Public Library are participating in Freedom Day, held this year on Thursday, September 11.
Freedom day is a national event created to provide active military, their immediate families, and veterans a day of FREE goods & services offered by their community as a way of saying thanks. In Brookline it’s extended to first responders as well (police officers, Firefighters, EMT’s and their families).

Please visit the Main Library information desk tomorrow to receive: 

* 1 coupon good towards a free regular coffee or tea from Kookoo’s Nest, the library's cafe

* 1 coupon good towards 2 $1 books from the Friends book sale

FYI: All of our locations will be opening at 11 am on the following dates due to staff professional development training:
