This is exactly why I won't be looking at the iPhone 6s plus this year. The Note 5 is already a 4 x major win!

All that's missing is the whip and chains.

I can't wait for someone to make the cinema app work on the deck of Star Trek enterprise. Sitting right in the Captains chair would be very cool.

+Christopher Moore If you haven't seen it yet, someone already did this a while back on DK1, including voice commands to the computer! My video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulYLzGj4JbE  I'd love to see something similar come to Gear VR.

Floss; would you rock a Note 4 and Nexus 6 or would you do Note 4 and iPhone 6 plus if you had 2 phones to pick from?

Any reason you're avoiding the otterbox commuter? I'm rocking that case right now and the black on black on black is sick. Very good protection and easy to take case off when swapping batteries.
And have you tried any glass screen protector without the halo effect?

If I had $200 to spend on a smartwatch it would be this one. Nice color, quality band and materials. Only question left is display., battery and performance.

Stumbled on this video by accident but I love the design over the more traditional V6. Having the 2 heads and 2 exhaust manifolds in a traditional V6 is a real turn off once you start working on them. A found a new appreciation for this engine.

I'm actually surprised it did not heat up even quicker due to the chromcast. Not only are you adding more cpu cycles you're also loading up the wifi circuitry.

+Christopher Moore That's true, and I'd been using it for a fair while before this recording as well.

Thank you for the vid. I love to see more content related to Gear VR. But my question involves people that wear glasses. I was wondering if you have anyone in your immediate family that has low to medium vision issues and wears glasses. I'm a -3.75 to -4 and was wondering how the fucus dial worked.

+Christopher Moore No problem! I actually don't have any people in my house with glasses! But, I do have to spin the focus dial all the way out to get a clear image for my eyes...

Bugs, bugs and more bugs is the reason why I went back to Android. You tell Apple people that you have bugs but they look at you like you're crazy. Why lie about it? You're just hurting the platform if you keep it under wraps. I can understand bugs with Android because of all the different configurations but Apple does not release many phones. The platform should be rock solid but it's not. Actually the second reason is the lack of functionality with iOS. After 2 months it's still just a large iPhone with optical stabilization.
Just by slapping in 2 to 3GB of ram and allowing 2 apps on screen at the same time would have won me over.
Maybe next year Apple (3rd time saying this)!

+Linh Ta great point there's no need fit the extra shit. There enough money for both companies to live. It's called options

Forgot to mention that it will not work with Gear VR. One of the reasons why I stopped looking at this phone. I would have gotten this instead even with the $100 price increase but I want Gear VR more.

My dream phone is easier to make. Start with a Note 4. Get rid of the hardware keys, add HTC boom sound speakers, put the iPhone touchID on the back below the camera and have it running stock Android with the ability to run any 2 apps at once with note taking features. And maybe get rid of the SD card for 128GB of ram but why not keep the SD card in for good measure. And it has to be compatible with Gear VR.
So even if Samsung used the pre-existing Note 4 and just did vanilla android with very minimal touchwiz features I would be happy. Stock Android still lacks features which makes the Note 4 more versatile.
And why go with a G3 display? So far everyone says that the Note 4 display is the best on the market. Plus the G3 display is more power hungry. I'd rather have the smaller removable battery of the Note 4 vs the larger non-removable battery of the Turbo. I haven't plugged my phone in to charge for over 3 weeks; I swap my battery out every morning.
