BRAIN TRIVIA SOLUTION: Last week, we posted this trivia question about the human brain and asked you to identify the incorrect statement:

a) Your brain is 73% water and it takes only about 2% dehydration to affect your memory, attention, and other cognitive abilities.
b) An average neuron in a 30-year-old's brain makes twice as many neuron connections as in a 10-year-old's.
c) The typical brain makes up around 2% of the body’s total weight and uses about 20% of its total energy and oxygen intake.
d) Sixty percent of your brain’s dry weight is fat, which makes it the fattiest organ in the body.

If you picked option b, you’re right! This statement is false — in fact, your brain actually prunes connections as it develops from childhood through adolescence.
